does any one else on SD watch this show. i have watched each episode and i'm hooked its a mystery going on in each episode and makes it worth wild to watch .

The name shown at 108 on the dial is "Wallace". Currently no character exists in the show with that name. I'm not sure if this person is actually relevant or not, as Jacob may have just given Hurley that number knowing that Jack would see his house in the mirror along the way. http://lostpedia.wikia.com/wiki/Wallace

Juliet IS dead, but she WILL appear in episodes this season (Entertainment Weekly pried this out of Cuse/Lindelof). It's just unknown where she'll show up and in which timeline.

Some more random musings going through my head:

The lighthouse and the cave represent heaven and hell. Both keep track of a name list (perhaps a soul list), but the lighthouse rises majestically high above the surface of the island while the cave is down below it, dank and rotten, lit by a flame.

Jacob may represent Jesus, dying in martyrdom so that the population could be saved. Ben may represent Judas, who had a chance to save Jacob but "betrayed" him (and may later even be forgiven for that -- Jacobs seems to harbor no hard feelings toward Ben).

When was the first physical appearance of Jacob? The flashbacks were from season 5 only right?

Hummm,,,it is crossed out a;ready, so that could mean it was someone that had already been on the island Still fits my Aaron theory, could be the bio-dads last name....

I'd like to know this too
Or it could have just been a ruse to get Jack and Hurley out of the temple and to get Jack to the lighthouse. They really don't have much time to be introducing new people so I think it is someone that already has been there (in other words, who doesn't have a last name yet?) or it is nothing.

I don't think that was Jacob, I think that was MIB controlling another body. Remember that cabin was surrounded with an ash line to keep him in there.
