BA member as well. I've submitted one or two reviews. I haven't been on much lately. My local grocery store doesn't have much good selection, so I stick with my normal varieties of Sam Adams and the occasional random IPA that may be there.

Once my car is fixed I'll be able to venture out a bit further. There is a place called Fion's Wine Pub around here that has the best beer selection in Texas including 2 wine cellars. One at each location. One boasts over 400 different beers, the other 600+, at least that's IIRC.

I've done maybe 20-25 beer reviews and a couple store/pub reviews. Very rarely am I near my computer to actually review, plus it's a lot of work.

I just counted, it looks like I've had 19 of the top 100 beers. A couple I don't think I'll ever try (the two Plinys, a couple of ther other Imperial IPAs) just because I can't stand that style. I think I need to make a list and cross them off.

Ever since I got into brewing I find that I don't buy beer nearly as much, and when I do I try to make sure it's something I've never had before, or something that I can't brew.

I don't have the necessary space to be able to brew at my apt, but wouldn't mind getting into it sometime.

Dam right there are.. I just don't understand how you can consider PB "pretty decent". That's like saying Miller Lite is a delicious pale lager. It's just not right, cuz it's not freakin' delicious.

PBR actually has some body and flavor and in scoring I saw somewhere it was a C or C- compared to Miller/Bud etc which were all D- beers.

Then you're pretty good with St. Pauli, look into maybe Stella and I don't know if you like wheat beers but Blue Moon is really good and any of the Schafly or Fat Tire beers are good.

actually a good portion of them are Pale ales and IPAs, which I happen to really enjoy.

One of my favorite beers of all time is Kona Brewing Company Big Wave Golden Ale. I still can't get it in San Diego...I have to go all the way to Hawaii.
