Interesting fact for us TX folks. Newcastle is brewed and packed in separate batches for us TX folks because of TABC laws. Also, the ABV here is higher at 5% since it says 'Ale' on the label. In TX, if the label reads 'ale' it has to be 5% ABV or greater. Newcastle is 4.6% elsewhere in the world.

If you're talking about a liquor store like Friar Tucks, you can easily get a 6 pack for around $8.
op: if you go to the brewpub, just get the sampler.
what the farks the difference between the 60 min and the 90 min?

But yeah, as square alluded to, the 90 gets hoppier.. so see if you like the 60 first.
I will admit - some German beers that come in clear or green bottes are fine, but only if you buy them in Germany and drink them in Germany.
I didn't mind Mythos while I was in Greece. It was similar to Budweiser, but was much cheaper and was available at most restaurants. That was green bottled.
But I agree for the most part that beer in green or clear bottles sucks.

WHY IS THE WORLD SO CRUEL
WHY IS THE WORLD SO CRUEL
We had a beer party last Saturday where everyone brought a case of something non-standard, drank a bunch, and swapped beers at the end. One guy invited never drank anything other than Coors Light. We encouraged him to at least taste a couple different beers and he fell in love with Chaos Theory, a very malty IPA. We were all very surprised and he kept asking for more.
I definitely had a couple interesting beers, including one that supposedly tasted like Lucky Charms. They lied.
