wowzers... I'm a shrimp at 5' 4" - I have a sister that is 5' 11", 6+, my brothers are all 6+ and one is pushing 7 ft. DH is 6'2" (and the rest of the family is pretty tall too with 1 girl under 6', but everyone else over 6), and I suspect the toddler will be around 6'ish - my oldest I'm not sure about - maybe she'll be 5' 8ish, but part of me thinks she may be about done growing.

back by the Alamo. God I love this place.

The update surely sucks. Stopped at a store along the way and it was just one big clusterfark.

there was a few random items on a sporting goods endcap today at 75%. I bought a pair of wine stoppers just cuz I needed them for an upcoming party. I thought I had found the Nerf gun, but it scanned full price. Didn't find ANYTHING hidden....good I guess since we leave for Vegas tomorrow with no chance of hitting 90% Dontknow

I walked into Target and bought 3 things. 2 of those things were trip related and on my list. The other was .74 wine stoppers. I have lost that loving feeling.....wooooaaaaah that lovin' feeeeeelin'.....Sadwalk

I feel ya. While I myself have not had much trouble using the coupons I have presented...you can tell that the cashiers are scared to take them...forget about whimsical K1s :boohoo:

Kroger is keeping me busy lately though. Not complaining at all...these mega deals are awesome! Moneymakers are paying for my produce & meat yummy Something that T never paid for! (directly that is) OMG

Teri: That is great news. I have been following your posts about Joel. I am so happy things are turning around *bighug*

I think the projected height for my older son is 6'4 or so, for my younger son it's 6'2. I have several relatives that are 6'7 and taller, and one of my sisters is 6'4! I'm right at 6 ft so yeah, even if I tried to "fly under the radar", it wouldn't happen. Embarrassment
I'm just under 6' so yeah, kinda hard to fly under the radar, although I do try. Teehee I hope my kids end up tall, they start out short but so did I. I was a rare case and grew into my 20s! For some reason I had a younger bone age.

I just opened a new bag of Lime Tostidos drool I just love when I get to pick the few extra limey ones out. Seems like there are always 4 or 5 chips in the bag that get a extra dose of lime/salt. I always make guac with two avacado but no one eats it but me. I'm scared to see how many calories are in one avacado! I eat my guac for lunch two days in a row.

I was going to go to T today but DD locked the keys in the car when she went to get stuff out of it last night. Frown

So far I have really lucked out and not had trouble with coupons doing the weird amount autodeducting down. Maybe they are trying to make up for auto ups.

I'm glad to hear Teri's son and Flu's litltle ones feeling better. The Dr said lilB probably had some kind of a summer virus and that is why is fever got so high but we should not leave town because his fever was so high that he needed baths to bring the fever down since it would get back super high before we could give meds again. That and if his fever wasn't gone in two days we needed to bring him back in for tests. Really scary when it gets up to 104+ and meds only help a litte for a few hours, we gave lots of baths & that helped. My Uncle did leave a note to my aunt, 8 words, "I'm sorry, I'll never make you cry again.". So freaking super sad! I still can't believe it and am so sad we didn't get to go to the funeral. I have to think my lilman getting so sick was for a reason like maybe we would have had car problems or worse.
It was his third day on a new type of depression meds. If you have a loved on these kind of meds, especially if they switch kinds, please keep family aware and check on them often. We are far away but everyone said he showed no signs that anything was wrong at all. My aunt told her daughter that their argument wasn't even a big deal at all, she wasn't that upset and doesn't know why he thougth she was. Dontknow

That's why depression is so debilating the brain doesn't really process right
everthing is under a cloud of sad , angry thinking.

So sorrry for your loss Flowers2 and under these circumstances, your Aunt needs to know IT"S NOT HER FAULT, that guilt can be overwhelming on top of the grief , and believe me the guilt is there ,even if it's buried under grief.

Nikayla - So sorry about your loss and about having to miss the funeral. Comfort

I love lime tostitos... I'm also the only one who eats guac here. S'ok with me! This is making me hungry though.

I haven't had issue with weird auto deducting. I'm just wondering if these folks are giving their tq's first, then mq's - or what. Or - maybe there are different kinds of updates being configured in different places. *shrug* The whole thing is annoying.

I'm trying to figure out if there's any good overage deals right now. Seems like a stinky week. Freebies are nice, but when you are trying to stretch some cash - overage is nicer. I may try a couple c9 things. I haven't been shopping for several days - and it is weird. We are out of bread for the toddler's sandwiches, lettuce for DH/DD, and could use some meats. Ugh. I have to make a meal on Thursday. I think I need to sit DH down and have a chat with him. I just can't seem to make the grocery budget stretch as far as it used to, and now with the whole Atkins thing and updates - I'm stressing out like crazy. I soooo don't want to be all stressed out over meals, so we either need to change the budget or the diet!

Otherwise, I had a decent day here. We went to a friends house and the kids played and had fun. Sat and talked and basically just enjoyed myself. I need to make that more of a regular thing. I tend to be very hermitish. I meant to go to the library today after visiting and DD's guitar lesson, but the toddler fell asleep in the car so we just came home afterward. I think we'll do library, T run, and a few other minor errands tomorrow morning - then church in the eve (yay - no cooking for me).

Why do the days seem to melt together and then fly by??

hug Nikayla, so sorry about your uncle and hope the little one gets better. hug

Didn't get to come home today. DS had yet another seizure and slept most of the day. Woke up this afternoon, ate everything but the fork on his dinner tray, took some walks and elevator rides, went for another CT scan, everything looks fine. They are still thinking the seizures are a result of having brain surgery (makes sense). The plan now is to either send him to inpatient rehab for his right side, or have home based PT. We're so close to getting out of there. Tonight, I'm home and his dad is staying. I really am grateful to be able to crawl into my own bed tonight Smilie

Hi all. Right Guard blinkies up for $1. I think I have seen them in the trial bin for 1.02 at Target.

I received an email for $10 James the Giant Peach Blu ray. Gonna try and post it here.
Nik--that story is very very sad.

Ank, would your little one eat the Pepperidge Farms flat bread things? They're actually quite soft and yummy, I think. Anyway, there's a TQ (is it expired?) and MFQs that make it either cheap or free. They're 1.99, either way. That's about the only deal I know of right now.

Hubby has been so gracious about letting me go out in the evenings. I feel badly leaving him with the kids, but we have decided to treat this as my part-time job, and essentially it is a job. I have to have stuff for my sales, and I have to have sales to help pay for our son's school. Its either do it this way, or I go and get a part-time job and still be gone 3 and 4 nights a week. At least this way I'm having fun. Well, most of the time.

Oh, and Ank, the hobo purses that I personally think are ugly are 2.50. If your cashier K1s the TQ, then that's .50 overage each purse. Not much, but every little bit helps!

Eva's fever came back this afternoon, and she was much more grouchy/fussy, and actually looked like she was in pain. I just hate it when they can't tell you what hurts. She has zero other systems - poops are fine, urine normal, no vomiting, no rash, no bumps, nothing. She has little appetite, but she is drinking. If she's not better by tomorrow evening, I'm going to bring her in. Don't like my baby being sick.

I've heard the same thing about jobs. It seemed I did advance quickly at most jobs I have had but I also worked very hard.

Yeah, very scary how it the depression and the meds that are supposed to help can mess so much with the way one thinks. I worry alot about my aunt and being so far away I feel helpless and I really don't know what to do. My mom has said she has had a lot of people from her church and family with her at times everyday and they said she is doing as good as can be expected.

Thank you hug Finally someone to share Tostidoes and guac with! =) I'm wondering the same thing about T. I love having a great dinner and not having to cook.

Thank you, hug Oh hope he can go home tonight if not tomorrow. It might be better if they keep him overnight with the seizures, those seem so scary! But he is through the worst it seems. woot on being able to sleep in your own bed, hope you get some much needed rest!

It is a job for sure and you are making money without spending much money but you are spending your time and you also don't have to pay for a sitter. It is a MM for sure.

I think the purses are ugly too but my DD's like them and will be great for them to give friends for Christmas.

It sounds like Eva has exactly the same thing lilB had. I did take him in to rule out the scary stuff like bacterial meningitis etc and ear infection. lilB just whimpered, cried, rubbed his head and nose for days. He wanted to be held almost the whole time and was so miserable! He can barely talk and he was saying "head hurt" while rubbing his head with both hands and the sadest look I've ever seen.

His only symptom was the fever and of course being in pain. It lasted about 2 1/2 days. The first night I got pretty much zero sleep. He would be 104.5 and I'd give him mortin and a bath the fever would go down to about 101 then 2 hours later it would be back to 104.x and I would have to give him a long bath to bring the fever back down while I wated for another hour to pass so I could give tylenol. He would cry after a while in the bath because it did bring his fever down but then he would get the chills and start shaking and saying "cold, cold, I coooolllldddd Crying" We did the whole tylenol, mortin, and bath rotation the rest of the day, all. night. long. and. all. day. long.

The fever finally broke and he is back to normal. I guess it was what the Dr guessed as a summer virus. At least it wasn't the swine flu again that was horrible especially because he and I both had it at the same time.
