Wow, sorry to hear of all those struggling with such things! hug What did we do before the internet, where with a few keystrokes, we can find others struggling with similar things, and get hugs and all that?!

Trying to get my butt in gear so I can bring the kids out and get some deals done. No energy or motivation today. Hubby's dad is in DC on business, so we're meeting him for dinner tonight. He loves his grandkids to death, but I always feel like the intruder, kwim? Ah well. It'll be a free dinner, so guess I can't complain. laugh out loud

Man, did anyone else in this area get that horrendous storm on Sunday afternoon? When I was out driving yesterday, saw lots of damage from it. Burned-out flares at intersections, huge tree branches everywhere. I heard MD got hit even worse. Winds supposedly got up to 70MPH. EEK!

My monthly flea market is this Saturday, and I have pretty high hopes for it. I made $300 last time, and they said it was a slow week. I've been picking up the super cheap school supplies from everywhere, so hopefully I can sell some of that. I also have an obscene amount of cereal. Seems like every grocery store has had some sort of deal lately where its been free, money-maker, or pennies on the box. Here's hoping I unload LOTS of it!!

OK, off to complete a few things on my to-do list!

Mine does too. I don't know if I trust all the tests - mine always come back "normal". I guess I should get my bucket to an endocrinologist too.

And yup - totally have a lot of 7/31 q's and not sure if/when to go shopping. I want to go... I just don't *want* to go...

I can't believe it is noon and I am just getting moving.. Had a late night. My DS had a few friends sleep over last night for one last time before they start school next week. The boys were up late... I don't know when they went to bed. They were pretty rowdy at 2:30 am and I went downstairs and told them they had to play video games, cards, or something more quiet.. I am dragging them out of bed right now. My toddler let me sleep late too Smilie

Hoping to get to target one day this week. I have been using several of the new TQ at Publix this week.. free ravioli, free bic pencils, almost free chunky soup.. Guess when the publix sale ends, I will hit target. Thinking I need to get to kroger and see if I can get some OS or gillette BW and check crayon prices this week! Not enough time for all this shopping along with getting things ready for school, getting my son registered at college, working, birthdays, etc. But I can't complain.. I feel so humbled and blessed after reading what so many people are going through. Hugs to you all !hug

Time to talk about poop??

My DD has been doing so great.. Just this last week, she has really been good with pooping on the potty. We haven't had an accident in about 10 days.. I am so excitedbounce But, as soon as she goes, she asks for her "prize".. I hit the dollar store on Saturday for more cheap prizes and then Sunday, she went 3 timesEEK! DH asked me last night how long we are gonna keep the prize thing up.. will we still be giving them when she is 5LMAO I told him I just want to make sure it is a regular habit with before I stop the rewards.

As far as papa goes.. we have ordered numerous times.. and always order atleast 2 at a time.. but we have a problem remembering our sign in and password, so we are forced to create new accounts all the timeCool DS, DH and I all have one. I have enough peelies for 2 more meals.. YAY! Last time I was at the store, there were tons of peelies left.. I felt kinda sad that I left them there to sit and expire this week.

Anyone been using the clorox coupon- "buy clorox, get bleach free"? Used it today and the red screen popped up- "This coupon is not valid. Please contact the manufacturer." Never seen this before. And even though the message came up- the price was deducted. Wasn't a barcode issue, I covered the other side for her. Happened with all 3 I tried. Confused

My store allows expired tq until they beep. Noticed they (ziploc, huggies) are beeping a lot sooner than usual.

nod Same thing but no deduction.

I can't seem to find the thread about the proflowers savings passes. Can anyone point me there? I thought it was posted here, but no luck in the retired TCC threads.

Found a play tunnel for $3.74 yesterday. Totally worth it. Also found TAG Jr. Books for $5.48, picked some up with the $5 MQ.

I agree, hug Pray for Dia & ella & Teri family. It's so hard when we have to deal with such scary things and it is wonderful to have this thread where we can worry out our troubles.

My dad and sisters did not even call me to tell me my mom was admitted to the hospital in kidney failure Sat night. Frown
My cousin called me last night (her dad is the one who just killed himself) to see how I was doing and I didn't even know. She is doing kinda okay but still has really bad days. My moms condition is improving and her urin is orange now instead of black. I don't know what is up with my family, maybe they just didn't want to worry me. Dontknow Still haven't heard a peep from them.

We got a crazy storm here on Monday, lots of trees, branches, signs down, a few hours away from here there were two tornadoes! They were small F1 is what they are thinking right now. One went through a mobile home area and there was a lot of damage.

Good luck on the sale! Hoping you make tuns of moola Greedy !!

Got out the potty for lilB to get used to and practice on. He actually did a super tiny lil turd in the potty then stood up, looked at it, and tried to pick it up. Spent the next few hours diaperless and having him sit on the potty for a few min at 15 to 20 min intervals and nothing. I finally put the diaper on so I could spend some time cleaning and of course he finished pooping and filled his diaper. laugh out loud

I have heard on the Papa peelies that you can order a month out. I read someone filled Aug Fridays with pizza nights. If you can find enough of them.

I don't have kids and all my nieces and nephews were fully potty trained (even at night) by the time they were 4.

I found out that a friend's 7 yr old is still in goodnites EEK! They've been paying for diapers (in some fashion) for him for 7 years. Is this normal?

I wet my bed until I was 10 or 11, so as far as that goes, that's not outrageous. However, my parents didn't have me in goodnites. shake head Methinks they should break him of the goodnites, and see how he likes waking up soaking wet. That might help him learn bladder control. I'm going back and forth in my head, trying to decide when to stop the pull-ups on my 5yo son. He wakes up with a soaked pull-up every morning, sometimes even has wet through. OMG Not sure what its gonna take to get him to hold it. My 3yo daughter, though, wakes up dry probably 40% of the time.

Any tricks anyone has used to get your little one to stay dry through the night?

Just at night right?? Or all the time?? Night time can take awhile and is way different for all kids - or so I've heard. I am afraid DD will be one of those....she is such a heavy wetter, always has been, and rarely wakes up dry but it fully trained during the day.

L2BAM - We did the prize thing too and I found it way easier to kind of 'wean' her off of the prize system....maybe go to something like a sticker chart or 1 M&M each time or something else easy and cheap....but yeah, definitely not until you know for sure it is a habit and they've kind of forgotten that they used to poo elsewhere.

Wow, 7 years seems long, but I do know some kids really struggle with night time bed wetting..My good friend had her daughter in pullups at night until she was atleast 5 or 6. Must not be that uncommon cause if I remember correctly those goodnights go up to a pretty high weight limit. My other 3 were late trainers.. they all were 3 or a little over when they were fully PT, but when they trained they were totally trained.. pee, poop, and night time trained.
My #4 has been so different. Wanted to train just after her second birthday. Has been peeing without accidents for months, but just has gotten the poop thing down. She does still wear a pullup at night, but many mornings it is dry. In all honesty, I think it is more my fault when it is wet. I don't often here her when she first wakes up and calls me and she pees before I get in there. My other 3 kids were in toddler beds by this age and just got up and found me when they needed the potty. I am just too lazy to fight with her right now to transition out of the crib. I like getting my sleep at nightWink

Speaking of bed wetting.. remember the good old days before pullups and good nights? I remember my brother had that plastic cover for his mattress on his bed for years.. and he was 4 years older than I was.. He used to get so mad when we made fun of his plastic sheetslaugh out loud

Crap, I wish I could find those at that price. I've got MQs and also $5 TQs that are about to expire (8/1). That would be a major money maker.

My dad called me from Toronto, Canada and told me that they announced Target is coming up there! I know we have a TCCer that travels down, is it Lania?

Dia--I'm doing ok. Actually, I had another biopsy done yesterday. At home recovering and itching to go out and get some deals at T and Publix, but not up to it yet. No results yet, but I'll let you know when I know something. Thanks for asking.

I see the pen's deal made FP.

Just got home from another disappointing T run. Other than clothes this T had almost no clearance. Nothing on endcaps at all. Only a tiny bit of summer in its original spot (plastic summer tableware), and a few discontinued scents of the Febreeze candles also in their regular aisle. All of the back endcaps were filled with regular merchandise displays of things not even on sale or in the T ad. I hope to heck this isn't permanent.

And no coffee Sadwalk
