nod Same thing but no deduction.

I can't seem to find the thread about the proflowers savings passes. Can anyone point me there? I thought it was posted here, but no luck in the retired TCC threads.

Found a play tunnel for $3.74 yesterday. Totally worth it. Also found TAG Jr. Books for $5.48, picked some up with the $5 MQ.
Is this the one you're looking for?

I wet my bed until I was 10 or 11, so as far as that goes, that's not outrageous. However, my parents didn't have me in goodnites. shake head Methinks they should break him of the goodnites, and see how he likes waking up soaking wet. That might help him learn bladder control. I'm going back and forth in my head, trying to decide when to stop the pull-ups on my 5yo son. He wakes up with a soaked pull-up every morning, sometimes even has wet through. OMG Not sure what its gonna take to get him to hold it. My 3yo daughter, though, wakes up dry probably 40% of the time.

Any tricks anyone has used to get your little one to stay dry through the night?
One thing that helped us - we make sure everyone has gotten a drink of water by 6 or so at night, and then no more drink after that. Bedtime is between 8 or 8:30, and the last thing my kids do before climbing into bed - is pee. laugh out loud

There are lots of things that are factors, though... an important one is if your kids are hard sleepers. Both of mine are not really very deep sleepers, so if they get the urge to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, they always wake up..

Teri, was it you who gave the recipe/mixture for making cake flour from regular flour? If so, would you please post it again for me? Or would someone who made note of it please post it? My best friend is going to make me a birthday cake from scratch on Saturday! I want to have everything ready!

Some kids just mature differently, just as it is with everything. My now 8 yr old son didn't fully potty train until he was 5. Doesn't make it wrong or right, just right for him. No amount of bribing, rewards or punishment can make a child do what they aren't physically ready for. JMO

You could try to transition to a daily prize thing, then maybe a weekly prize thing - like a special night out or a movie rental, ice cream cone, etc...

I haven't called on Papa once!

Anyone been using the clorox coupon- "buy clorox, get bleach free"? Used it today and the red screen popped up- "This coupon is not valid. Please contact the manufacturer." Never seen this before. And even though the message came up- the price was deducted. Wasn't a barcode issue, I covered the other side for her. Happened with all 3 I tried. Confused

My store allows expired tq until they beep. Noticed they (ziploc, huggies) are beeping a lot sooner than usual.
Yeah, my store is the same with expireds - and they are definitely coming up sooner. Frown Guess I will have to get my bucket in gear from now on and not count on being able to get a good deal later than usual.

As for the other problem, it could be that this particular coupon has been counterfeited and is no longer being honored by the manufacturer. It happens if a coupon gets copied or the manu wants to yank the promo. Stinks when they do that - thankfully it's not too often.

Now that is a real tragedy.

So.... took oldest to guitar and decided to make a "quick" run to T (yeah, like that ever happens... I was late picking her up by 20 minutes! These kids are going to disown me!!)

Anyway... I don't think I could've done this if I'd planned it - but it was totally woo hoo!!:

7.96 - 4 Juicy Juice
3.96 - 4 ravioli
1.98 - women's c9 shorts
5.00 - 2 merona bags
4.08 - 2 del monte
12.76 - 4 max white toothpaste

35.74 sub-total

-2.00 - 2x 1.00/2 jj mq
-1.50 - 1x 1.50/4 ConAgra (ravioli - beeped and required manual entry)
-1.50 - 1x 1.50/2 Del monte fruit cups (cardboard coupon cut out of a package, got in trade, so no clue where from)
-4.00 - 4x 1.00 colgate mq
-4.00 - 4x 1.00 JJ tq
-3.96 - 4x ravioli auto-adjusted
-5.00 - c9 k1'd
-6.00 - 2x 3.00 merona k1'd
-2.00 - 2x 1.00 Del Monte coupon
-4.00 - 4x 1.00 tq for colgate

1.78 + tax, got back $5 gc. Whee

Heard from DH's cousin today - we should have a camera by Thursday! Yay!! Assuming I haven't 'sploded by then, I will post some belly pics. Big Grin

Someone got to some clearance things between last night and today. Frown No Armour all, only 2 merona's that were kind of hidden were left, the c9 was tucked in a random rack with other stuff and I almost missed it, and all of the cheapie hanes clearance were gone. Also looks like they were hitting up the del monte, hunts, and ravioli! This was at my normally quiet po-dunk store. Sadwalk

That was Ank, IIRC. I don't remember what I did with the recipe though.

I can't make a working link to save my life today. So copy and paste it is. From the previous retired thread:

The cake flour is soooooo easy. I'm too cheap to buy cake flour anymore. You use 1 cup of all purpose (not self-rising) flour + 2 tbsp of cornstarch. Sift 3 times. Then measure from the sifted mix. I usually make about 4-6 cups at a time just to be sure I have some on hand (store in a ziploc), and if it's sat for awhile I will sift it again just to make sure it stays nice and light for baking.

You know you got the T bug bad when....

You steal someone's scissors just so you can cut some more MPP's to go to Target.

... I went to in-laws this weekend as dh's family offered to "loan" us one of their spare car's (They have $$ we don't) So we all drove up together then returned in separate cars and left ds behind to spend a couple weeks before school starts with the grandparents.

Of Course I just had to stop at one T to see what the clearance was like in there town. Well then I just had to stop at a 2nd T. By the time I was done at both stores and ready to hit the road my dh was already home (nearly 200 miles!) So to cover myself I made a brief stop at another relatives house so I could use them as an alibi for why I took so long.

But I think the worst was, my hubby had cleaned the car out before our trip and had removed my Q's & scissors. I remembered to snag the Q's and put them back but not the scissors. So I ended up nicking a pair from my in-laws. Couldn't bring myself to ask as they just roll there eyes at my addiction. I'll just make sure to leave them somewhere in her house when I go back in 2 weeks.

Still was well worth it. I haven't added up the receipts yet but think I ended up after multiple transactions at both stores with nearly $500 worth of clearance clothes, shoes, merona, etc. for around $30.

no... I must've missed it. GRR... should've printed earlier, but I didn't want to waste the ink until I knew there was a good deal! Well, guess i know for next time. I think they come back around ever-so-often, so keep your eyes on the WM thread. I think I will need to shop WM here and there if the darn T stuff doesn't get worked out.
Once you register, you should see four coupons and one is for the $3 off. I can't see if because I already printed it. You are correct though, the coupon frequently resets.

that is the weirdest thing I've ever seen on that clorox. I haven't been back to a store with updates and tried 14's so I don't know what it would do. To be honest, it scares me to try! lol

I don't have kids and all my nieces and nephews were fully potty trained (even at night) by the time they were 4.

I found out that a friend's 7 yr old is still in goodnites EEK! They've been paying for diapers (in some fashion) for him for 7 years. Is this normal?
It's a condition called enuresis. It's why older kids can't control their bladder at night. Happens a lot to abused kids, too. Frown

Quote from thismom4deals :
Just at night right?? Or all the time?? Night time can take awhile and is way different for all kids - or so I've heard. I am afraid DD will be one of those....she is such a heavy wetter, always has been, and rarely wakes up dry but it fully trained during the day.
My niece wore pull-ups foreeeeever, but finally outgrew it. It's usually boys though.
