Ank, pretty soon it will all be a distant memory. I tried all the natural ways to go into labor (sex, walking, etc) and nothing worked. The end is just a sucky hurry up and wait.

My favorite thing to freeze in has been the Ziploc containers (plastic, especially the ones that have the screw-on lid) that seem to always be free/cheap around here after coupons/promos at the grocery stores. My mom freezes salsa in canning jars I know - I think you have to make sure you get ones that are safe for freezing. The ziploc containers say they can be used for freezing, are cheap, reusable to an extent, etc. I just find them to have a much better chance of holding up than freezer bags but easier to store than glass jars and economical. They stack well in the freezer too.

Well... golly... if I have to hurry up and wait, then I may as well enjoy my time while doing so, eh???

If you have/want to use freezer bags, one thing you can do to make them stack a bit better is to layer them inside a 9x9 cake pan or even a small cardboard box (shoe boxes work great) then set something on top of it as well so they freeze in flat, slightly more stackable layers.

I seem to always have Ziploc freezer bagsTeehee Our Hy-Vees like to run them for about $1 or less/box and on top of that there always seems to be a cat deal going on at the time. I don't even have an estimate of how many I got the last time......kept a ton, gave away a ton to local shelters/nonprofits, friends, etc., then sold 50+ boxes at GS. We did the peaches last fall in bags like that, but now that we have so many containers too I think we will stick with those. I just got finished looking at the Ziploc website to make sure they didn't contain BPA - nope. I'm not nuts-o about not using anything that contains it but I do try to avoid it as much as I can, especially for dd.

Sitting in the dentist office waiting on my DD. Poor thing is having a root canal. They found out she had a small abcess when they got in there.. can't wait until I get all these kids teeth fixed. It is costing me a small fortune though. Had to break out the last of the target visas to pay for this. I need a really big GS come fall to restash some money away for my anniversary trip in December.
On the positive note, my son passed all of his college placement exams today much to my surprise. He was studying last night and struggling. I think he regretted goofing off the last few years of highschool. But, he did pass. Now to come up with tuition money. We filled out the financial aid papers, but I am pretty sure we aren't gonna qualify. Gonna try for a loan but I am not sure if we need to have the financial aid thing back first. DH is stressing over the money this week.

Comfort I hope dd heals quickly and has very little pain.

Yay for DS passing his exams. Sorry to hear about all the money stress. It's quite frustrating - especially when it all seems to add up at once.

Can DS take community college classes for awhile - maybe work and save up for future classes? Go to school part time & work part time to get through? Be careful with loans - they can be somewhat easy to get sometimes and they can add up quickly. If you and DH put your names on the loans you could find yourselves up to your eyeballs in debt really quickly (and responsible for paying it off even if DS quits school and decides he doesn't have to worry about paying them back any time soon!)

Ugh. Haven't left the house yet. Neighbor called and said her son is sick and asked to borrow my oldest to watch him for a while as she went to check on her mom (who is also very sick) and do some errands/get meds. So... I haven't gone anywhere. S'ok... maybe tomorrow - right??

On the upside, I made some chicken noodle soup to send over that turned out pretty fabulous (if I do say so myself...) Makes me wish I'd done a giant pot!! LOL.

hug I just came back from the dentist myself. One root canal filling came out, another filling cracked and needs replacing, and then when I was flossing last night a crown came off. Or at least I thought the crown came off. The top of the tooth had broken off under the crown and it's not repairable. After I get the roots pulled in a few weeks, my choices are a bridge or an implant. We have dental insurance but will still paying quite a bit out of pocket for all this. Frown I completely empathize with you right now.

I bought an air hog transforming one this clearance sale, 17.88 at 75 % off. Got it home and looked it up on amazon, they rate it as POOP , returned it already/ The package was very intriguing though to dh as it either flew like a airplane or hovered like a helicopter, Unfortunately amazon says the wings are are styrofoam and break easily. dcpi 087050187.

I had bought air hogs helicpters for nephews last year, don't know how they held up, shh I hope they were'nt one of those one time use throw away toys (they weren't inexpensive), I don't think they'd tell me if they turned out to be Poop.

Your welcome on on the previous.

I think the air hogs brand tend to be the what T ,K W all carry in this kind of toy, Your next bet may be a hobby shop (pricey) for the good ones that full grown men nake a hobby out of flying. Depends what your looking for.

I think I found one of the air hogs you mentioned..But the wings were broken so it is going back...I think air hogs is very delicate (styrofoam and a 4 yr old ) and won't last long..Also it is pricey if it doesn't last long enough...I was sondering if there are other brands..Might try TRU first although I hate that place...

I have no idea abt the hobby shop ones..But I am sure if I mention it to DH, he will out of the door in a minute...laugh out loud
