It was 103 here today...actual temp... not heat index.

I had three guys who work for me on the roof multiple times, because the power went off and we have to reset radios and antennas each time. They took a thermometer with them the last trip and sat it on the roof, waited 10 minutes and then picked it back up. It read 142 EEK! EEK! EEK!

And they say I can't buy gatorade for my guys with government funds. Maybe not, but it'll be the paramedics that pull them off the roof after a heat stroke.

Can anyone clue me in on Kohl's?
Are you referring to "in store" or online? If you happen to be speaking about online there are lots of goofy secret things.

I used to be a Kohl's addict, about 2 years ago, until I had so much Rachel Ray, Circulon, and Christmas stuff that I could have started my own store. ha! It was a riot trying to catch the items come back instock at 90% off. It happened randomly and just searching on different servers made a difference. But, now, there are so many people watching for that stuff that it isn't worth it to me. But, with the 90% off, and the Kohls card giving you an additional 30% most times, Free Shipping, etc.... things cost very little.

But, today, I know that there are still a few secrets, ... if you look at the Kohls Thread, there is something called "SCT" this is a "saved cart trick", and in that thread a lot of people post them as they find them. What the deal is.... for example....

This SHIRT [kohls.com] is $14.40 but... if you were to
1.Log into your account
2. Add the shirt to the cart
3. Log out and hit "SAVE CART"
4 the next time you log back into your account that shirt is in your cart with a total price of $7.20

The thing is, you have NO idea which items this will work on. But, if you EVER order from Kohls, it is always worth going thru this process to see if any of your items will be lower if you were to sign out and in.

Sorry if that is confusing and no use to anyone.... ha!!

Oh, and the other thing that is nice, there are many times that you can add more than one discount code when ordering. (unless that has changed recently.)

Me tooFrown DD would looooooove Lotso! Still full price. Has this been pretty typical of the other toy clearances, that the items are this varied from store to store?? I've only done it the past 3-4 times but I don't remember it being this different.
I looked at the store I had seen it at last Thursday and it was gone Frown Sorry

LMAO

I thought of you the last couple days - we've been eating like champs and I've been cooking up a storm. Turkey, mashed taters & stuffing for lunch yesterday. Turkey & rice soup with the leftover turkey for supper (and lunch again today drool ) then BBQ chicken on the grill w/a new recipe (homemade BBQ) and Garlic Cheddar Mashed Taters for supper tonight. I'm stuffed!

Has anyone seen any little kiddie pools anywhere on sale/clearance? I'd love to get dd something small and under $5 - just enough to soak herself (and maybe me Big Grin ) in - but I'm not willing to pay a bunch for it!!
