We live 5 minutes from the hospital where I had lilB. DH said he would carry me there if he had too. I stayed at the hospital two days and the during the second night and all morning it had snowed 13" to 15" and it was still snowing like crazy OMG the news was talking about all kinds of crazy stuff, lots of crashes, and advising that people should stay home and not drive anywhere. All the nurses were so worried we had to drive in the blizzard, every one that came in was worried. We were like, 'hey we just have to drive around the corner and down the street, don't worry. We live less than 5 minutes' I think it takes longer to get in the car, buckle up, drive over, and find parking than it does to just walk over.

EEK! I would go over the rules about not hiding in places like that with her again.

My 7 yr old hates cleaning her room and tells me I am a mean mean mom when she has to clean or do chores. As if that wasn't bad enough she taught lilB how to say 'mean, mean, mom!' Frown so now even my 18 month old who is just learning to talk is saying mean mom to me. Crying And she just laughs histerically when he says it. Mad

I see you have posted lately so no baby on the 13th. Frown I was just reading hoping to have a Friday the 13th birthday buddy. I was born on Friday the 13th and everytime my birthday was actually on the 13th I would have a scary dress up Friday the 13th party. Well, until I stopped having birthday parties around 17 yrs old when I moved out on my own. I guess I didn't have that many of them but they are the ones I remember most easily.

Ya Ank, who knows when you will be able to sleep. Hopefully you will get some sleep and be ready to have Mavis tomorrow, after your shopping of course. Got to burn up your coupons.

DH does have a problem with my couponing. He thinks I spend way to much time reading the T thread and getting all the coupons/organizing and shopping. He sure likes it all after a sale though. He does see the benifit to it all but he get's grouchy when it's time to have a sale and I have to much to fit in on our shelves. I wish my DH or I knew how to do that software!!!!!!!!!
Awww Happy Birthday to you!! Sorry I missed it Frown Don't worry I am the evil mother around here too... just because I ask my kids to pick up their own trash LMAO HUGS!!

I have had a rough week-
I got home from vacation on Wednesday and the downstairs neighbor in my duplex had gotten a pit-bull. Attempted to bite my husband as we had to walk by it from our vehicle to our door. Not happy, and slumlord merely says he will be here in a week to 'look at the situation'. And he wonders where the rent check is laugh out loud Thankfully I'm on a month-to-month lease. Now if only there was something else available in town. Will likely be homeless, but this dog scares me. I haven't been to Target as the deals aren't that good anymore, and I'm scared to go out my door.

is the dog outside and unleashed or contained in a fence? If not, you can call animal control and they will take care of it by giving the owners a citation or removing the animal.

Are you kidding???? With the free socks and other clothes, practically free bath fixtures, free chef boyardee, other food pennies on the dollar? Not to mention free postit notes and free pens.

As for that dog, I might find a way to make him silently disappear. Evil

I wish. They aren't paying me. Have plenty of socks from when they were $6, not a fan of packaged foods and no Super Target for fresh produce. Plenty of G2s from Walgreens, and they are actually a nice pen. Wish they had a great deal that I need! Did pick up a 75% off large wood tray with places for pictures, and 2 large 75% off square glass vase type things last week.

As for the dog laugh out loud

So, I think 32+ jars of Skippy later I had to spend yesterday afternoon building myself a new shelf to store it on....well, that and all the Chef and everything else I've been accumulatingBig Grin Turned out nice though. I have the best dh ever!
Wow... nice haul!! I didn't think about Hy-Vee's 1 day sale, until it was too late.

Did you use the MQ in the Target thread and get 16 loaves of free bread with the PB? laugh out loud Unless a person had a big freezer, that probably would be a difficult thing to store.

Nope - according to Hy-Vee's current 'official' policy they don't accept anything printable that involves getting a free item: http://www.hy-vee.com/company/pre...olicy.aspx Mine are pretty by-the-book, not that I shop there a ton anyway. Both my deep freeze and regular freezer are almost at capacity too =(

Wave

Still no baby... sorry - just kind of skimmed for a sec. Going to head back out and hit up some Krogers... Smilie

Took oldest to some thrift stores, did 2 Krogers already, and hung with the fam for a bit. I feel like i could run all day. It's sooooo hot outside though. We had thunder, some clouds, but no rain yet. Yikes!!

I am soooo peeved. I went to print some more q's so I can do some cereal deals at Kroger - stupid printer is saying i have to replace the blue ink cartridge now. I haven't used blue ink, don't need it now - but NOW it decides I do. Of course, I have no blue ink, and I'm sure the yellow is soon to follow. GRRRRRRR.

Any overage deals to get some epson ink? I guess it'll be too late for the cereal deal, but maybe I can do some other mega deals this next week. (cuz I'm totally expecting to carry this baby forever now.)

I need a different printer. Blowup

Ank I thought for sure you would have gone back to the hospital today. Hope you are having fun shopping though Smilie

Cloudy rainy day here and I LOVE IT. We haven't had a rainy day in so long I can't remember the last time. It's a good excuse to do nothing. I've only ventured out to go to Teeter for super doubles. Still have my publix run q's in my handbag, but dark clouds and thunder were coming my way so we came home.

Thanks for all the dreamfield q's. I got several envies this week, and I'm not sure who sent what. I've gone through and repped everyone, I think Coverlaugh If I've forgotten you please let me know. This eating like a rabbit is no fun. I want my carbs back Sadwalk

I so could've shopped more! LOL! (well, still could, but I dont' think DH will let me out any more tonight!)

Hard to do with cranky toddler/whiny teen - and a cranky hubby to boot! DH has been out of sorts all day. I think he's wishing we'd had the baby already. He's even asked me if I make it til my appt. on monday if I think they'll want to schedule me for an induction. laugh out loud

I'm getting stuffy again - dernded allergies.

Anyways - I basically did a bunch of running around with my oldest DD and hit up some Krogers. Now... just hanging out and trying not to eat up the whole pantry.
