Smilie Wave Welcome!! Enjoy... There is no off topic discussion here... it's all on topic. Especially if it has to do with poop.
I was thinking of changing the topic from poop to food horrors.

Yesterday I opened a box of Betty Crocker potatoes- you know, the kind with a plastic bag of dried potatoes and a packet of sauce mix?

Well, I pulled the potatoes and packet out of the box and saw something rolling around in the bottom of the box. I poured it into my hand, and it was a mouse dropping! EEK!

This was a totally sealed box, and we don't have mice, so that had to have gotten in there at the factory. Makes me nervous about their sanitation at that factory.

Today I was getting the Del Monte fruit cups at Target, and when I picked up one, I felt something slimy. I took a closer look, and one of the cups in the package was not sealed good. The fruit in that cup was ROTTEN. Yuck!!!!!!! How did the shelf stocker not notice that? Confused

Cold

For the fruit cups - it's possible that it was dropped and busted open but didn't leak between droppage and being picked up and then put back on the shelf. I've seen that happen a few times. In fact, had that happen with some Juicy Juice boxes here at home. They had been dropped and apparently a couple boxes busted on the seam - but I picked them up and put them away before anything leaked. Later, I rearranged things and laid them down, and when I went back I found them a leaky and yuck. Man, I was bummed...

Also, I just figure there's all kinds of nasty in the pre-packaged stuff - I mean, how can you avoid it when you are processing massive amounts of food in large buildings? I just prefer to not think about it and live in blissful and willful ignorance when it comes to eating certain things.

ETA:

Ohhh... there was this one time when I was working at a drug store eons ago... Someone had bought some dog food (canned) and was in the process of paying for it. Well, one of the cans got knocked off the counter and burst open. Somehow, the dog food inside had already been compromised and was nasty rotted. Talk about stench and horridness. It was the worst thing I have ever smelled - and absolutely no way to describe it.

I'm sorry if this has been asked before or is common knowledge, but I'm trying to figure out the deal with the Target printable coupons.

I printed a bunch out last night, thinking they'd all be "TARGET WEB COUPON"s, but a lot, mostly General Mills products, were MQs. Bummed me out because I selected items that I knew I already had SS/RP insert/printable Qs for. And then some that I printed more than once were TQ one time and MQ the other time (not sure which came first), like the $1/2 Bic, so that really confused me. So how do you tell what's going to print as TQ? Is there a list somewhere, or is it just hit & miss?

I'm going to Target tomorrow, so hoping that I can get a quick answer here since this is where people are active!

I just download the TQs from the links in the wiki, so I get ONLY the TQs. No confusion that way.

Unfortunately, there is no good way to know until you print them. I think that the website/blog called "Totally Target" does a list - at least, I am fairly certain I've seen a list posted on occasion and them being credited for it... At any rate - if you are looking for ONLY TQ's, then definitely stick to printing the mpp's from the Target Wiki like ladycat suggested.

Thank you both! I hadn't read far enough down the Wiki to find the MPPs. I see now that the MPP list is the first place I should look.

Come on Ank - you can do it!! I hope today is the day.. I honestly would have never thought the way you were progressing that you would still be here.. Guess Mavis has her own planWink

Sitting here with coffee in hand. I decided today to be productive before I got coffee and computer time. My days are so busy now with one in college and the others back to school work. Entertaining a toddler while explaining an Algebra lesson is always a challenge.

Hopefully a quick publix run before work. Those new TQ are so sweet at publix this week. Only 2 more days to stock up on quaker bars and fruit cups before the sale ends.. unless of course, we happen to run out and need rainchecksBig Grin

Hope everyone has a wonderful day! We had some rain last evening and it almost felt fall like when I went out.. I can't wait!!

I saw the C9 Boyfriend tanks and t's yesterday. Has anyone bought them and tried them on yet? The regular C9 t-shirts fit me really funny. They seemed terrible long and sized rather small. I'm only 5'2" and in most things I wear a S or M. I could use some lay around the house shirts but do I want to bother with buying and possibly returning? The Q is still good for a bit so I thought I would ask first before buying.

This is my problem today... lol. My youngest won't leave the dog alone - and then she starts her squealing and they start chasing each other - oy... feels like chaos!! I am looking forward to getting out of the house soon. My oldest is quite moody today (teens!!), she has her guitar lessons, and I am headed to T afterward. I think we'll also hit the gym for some swimming this afternoon - well, I'll let them swim and I'll sit and do *something.*

heart I luv you! I hope so... I really really hope so!! DH just sent me an email and said he's been thinking that maybe we should schedule an induction for Friday since I'm so far along. He's afraid I'll go into labor and not make it to the hospital. This cracks me up so much because we really are 5 minutes away and it would have to happen soooooo fast!

Yes, this little munchkin apparently runs on her own schedule. It will be interesting to see what she's like after she's born!

I'm quickly realizing my schedule is going to be changing very quickly. We've held off schooling until after baby gets here and we settle in. I'm figuring we'll start officially in the 2nd week of September. DD has the option to do Saturdays or extend her official school year into the summer. I have a feeling she'll do some Saturdays to catch up.

Oh... good luck. I tried skimming deals - probably best to stick to recaps.

We need some more fiber one type deals or something. Something fun... Otherwise, T shopping is just kind of boring.

Oh... and THIS week, dh tells me he thinks he needs socks. *sigh* I'm not sure T will carry them in his size anyways, but still... *laugh* I haven't bought 1 single pack yet. I'm such a bad SDer... laugh out loud

I bought a pack of these a couple weeks ago - a repackage or something. At any rate, I haven't had a chance to try them on yet. laugh out loud I got the mediums. I am 5'4", and they "look" like they will fit fine with some room. They didn't seem to be overly long (or tight fitting) - maybe slightly longer than the average T, but not overly so. Of course, it's a little challenging to judge with my big 'ol belly in the way right now...

So there are still pockets of promise out there, eh??
