And ok..I KNOW greek yogurt is supposed to be ever so much better for you than regular yogurt. So I keep giving it a try and each time I think it tastes like vomit.
Oh.My.GOD I so have to go to the Titanic Museum.
Cool pictures, Jenni. Where is that Applewood Restaurant? I don't think I've ever seen that before.
These are at the bear habitat. They are acting silly because people are feeding them apples and grapes. What got me is one kept walking like a man!
These are some from Gatlinburg. There's a little shopping area called the Village that I just love the way the buildings look.
This place had like a billion different sauces and mixes
Gatlinburg from the bypass

I wish I could have taken pics inside the Titanic. It was so cool. You could see the artifacts, they had a replica of a 3rd class stateroom and the first class main room of the suite. You could also stand at a 3rd class door where the gate was shut and see the water rushing toward you. (it has glass to stop it). You can touch an iceberg and feel the water. You can steer the ship. The grand staircase is full sized. It was amazing. Did you know the floor on the grand staircase and landing were linoleum? It was the most expensive flooring you could get then because it had just been invented. Rich people were tearing up MARBLE to get it. Robert said it's probably still down there, looking the same as ever.
Oh, you could also look out over the bridge and see how dark it was!! You could send out a message in Morse code...all kinds of cool stuff. We were in there over 2 hours. I spent a fortune in the gift shop. Robert never stopped me. He just stepped outside when it was time to pay.
Holy crap school drop off sucked this morning. The rain brings the crazies out and they forget how to drive and be nice. It wasn't even raining and people were nutso. We're under a tornado watch until 1:00 today. I'll take it, though - TS Hermine isn't slamming Houston directly.

And no...I didn't know that about linoleum. WTF? Can you imagine, these days..going "Get rid of that crappy ass marble...let's put in linoleum!!" It's hard to think of the grand staircase being made of that
All that other stuff...SO COOL! I wonder why they don't let you take pictures inside...my God...if we could take pictures inside I'd be there for hours and hours having Patrick take pictures of me posing on the staircase, looking scared at the water rushing up, sending a Morse Code message, outside of the staterooms, etc (I think I just answered my own question, lol). That all sounds so amazing though. Like super super super amazing.
Btw...

Isador Straus's actual wedding ring is there (his body was recovered). Some things were donated by family members of those who died and were recovered, or who got off before the sinking. There's an actual piece of carpet from the Titanic that a man took as it was being refitted in a room. It's really amazing.
You also get a boarding pass as you go in with a person's name and story on it (and you get to keep it). At the end, there is a memory wall and you see if your person made it or not.

Something about federal copyright laws. You can get your picture made in front of a green screen and when it comes out, it's you in front of the staircase. I didn't do that.
Oooh they did that when the Titanic exhibit came to Nashville. It was pretty cool and sad. Both times my person survived which I was surprised at kind of. Actually the Titanic exhibit was about the time Patrick and I got back together (well...about 9 months before but still). He took me to it as a birthday gift and then later told me "Do you really think if I wasn't still in love with you I would have taken you and Elizabeth to that? I was trying to send you a message!"
And you know what would be cool? If you could have pictures in front of the green screen recreating "I'm flying!" OMG.

Both Robert and I survived. I had someone's mistress
And about the bear in the woods:
We were coming back from Gatlinburg and we see a bunch of cars pulled over with people pointing and stuff, so we knew it was something like that. Robert loves to see them out, so we stopped. It was probably 200 ft into the woods. Some idiots are letting their kids (early teens) walk up the hill toward it. They probably got less than 75 ft from it. WTF? Those bears can RUN if they want. Idiots.
You have NO idea how happy I was to go there.

And holy cow...I'm surprised the parents allowed them to get that close...cause yeah, like you said...bears may be huge but they can run freaky fast.
