Hot Toys for Christmas 2010: Predictions

What do you think will be the hot toy for 2010.

I'm leaning towards mighty beanz right now. My son is a huge Star Wars fan and is crazy about them. They not only do Star Wars, but Marvel Super Heros and they also have a normal line for the younger kids. I like how cheap they are. Only $5 for a package of them.

Huh But they're not scarce. That's the thing - if it's readily available, it's not going to be a hot item. Fry's had a truckload of them on display months ago.

Wow, this just might be it. After a quick google it appears as if some of these are already sold out.

Now some additional research will be required what to actually buy. Here's what I mean:
- There are 18 of these pets on the website, but only 13 are in stock. Do you try and get all 18. Just the 5 that are sold out?
- They come in 11 inch and 18 inch.
- Books are included with some of them
- Accessories

As always, as an adult I see no idea why some kid would want this, but that's how I feel about every "hot" item. So this leads me to believe this could be it. Any insider info would be great.

Thoughts?

I am just telling you what all the importers were telling me at a trade show in Vegas last month.

You got any more info on this? Do you know if this is still running hot? Any story about them running out anytime soon?

Also, anything else that you might see as hot? So far, in addition to your idea, we got:
- Toy story stuff (Not one item in particular)
- Nerf guns
- Pillow Pets
- Zhu Zhu Hamsters - I know some of you might think that I'm joking, but there are a few more of these things. Check out Amazon. Some are already going out of stock
- Squinkies

Ok - So I "figured" this out myself. There are 6 packs of the with 16 a piece. Then there is a mega pack which as 100. So apparently there are 4 extra. This is the one we want!

It's already sold out and going for over retail on Amazon!

They are not selling that great yet but I would think they will pickup. Zhu Zhus sold good this time year last year wish these would pick up.
