What do you think will be the hot toy for 2010.
I'm leaning towards mighty beanz right now. My son is a huge Star Wars fan and is crazy about them. They not only do Star Wars, but Marvel Super Heros and they also have a normal line for the younger kids. I like how cheap they are. Only $5 for a package of them.

It's already sold out and going for over retail on Amazon!
If I were you, I would not buy too many, you are going to look very silly returning them when they turn out to be a dud.
Star wars mighty beanz on the other hand, seem like a hot item this year.
Actually, I think those will make cool Halloween costumes.

People that don't have them are desperate to get them.
That's the answer people. The economy sucks, and people are not gonna dish out money for toys, they are worried about putting food on the table.

However I don't feel these were too popular in the US the first time around but they are sure hot in japan.
I think its sort of regional though, they seem to be more popular in Canada, and in other parts of the US, maybe California. We don't have any beyblade leagues around here, perhaps in an area where there are some they would be more popular.
I think they are excellent toys though, probably one of the best created since 2003 or so when they first came out in the US, they are fun to play with even for adults (there are adult beyblade leagues out there, again just none where I live) and they have some strategy to them.
My kids have never been wrong in guessing the hot toys
They went bananas over the new Lego catalog that had the Hogwarts Castle on front.
I was just at an import show and they are already talking about it.
true BIG TOY....Air Hogs Hawk Eye ....I don't really want to say it because I have mine on layaway (HAHAHA) for a great price on Amazon still saving but I have to get it in the next couple of weeks...folks are already at least doubling the price
