RETIRED: Target chit chat

I'm going again this morning to get some of the 4 gb Lexar Drives for $2.99 after TQ (College Essentials 2010 Book - which is the one I RAOK to people a few weeks ago).

On another note ds fever came back last night it appears they are now every 3 weeks apart versus every 4 weeks, I wish he would just grow out of it already, I'm tired of watching my rambunctious little boy turn in to a lifeless little boy every month, its just heartbreaking.

I have a few things to say first off this was obviously a joke as we were making cracks at ltl7 post, such as sound the alarm, etc. (I know I was there )

Any members who didn't just happen to chime in a few days ago when are beloved mpps were pulled knows that several sders like to post and crack jokes, another great example: "chef barney style", in the deals thread to liven things up when deals are slim, etc.

As for being mean and taking food our of your families mouth, oh please so we disrupted your s@g for a day or so. no one here is really mean we just all have dark sense of humors that's all, so please go back to your lurking and stfu already*snip

How dare anyone make a joke. These lurkers have families to feed and they rely on the regulars to do it for them. How dare anyone come in and upset their neat little system of leeching off others. The nerve!

Awww I am sorry to hear that. My DD hasn't had a fever since school started, but she has had a cough, strep (w/o fever, which is weird), and general stuffiness.

She has also broken out (again) with acne on her face (she is 7!), she's had bumps on her arms since she was 2 (I forget the technical name, but they call it "chicken-skin") and for the last 6 months she's been getting small warts on her hand and skin tags under her arms! Poor child has the body of a 60-year-old!

I tell the doctor, and he just says, "It can't be acne, it has to be something else." Great! Then what the hell is it? She gets white pimples all over her nose and cheeks. Her doctor is useless. Can't wait till Oct. and we get decent insurance!

Interesting how only one person really got riled up over that, compared to the sheer number of people that read the thread. I guess the social worker in me feels bad and wants to make everything right...but that's just not what people always need. couple thoughts:

1. food sensitivity/allergy - try eliminating - don't laugh too loud - corn, wheat, dairy, sugar - and their derivitives - for a few days (preferably a week) see how it goes. then add one of back per day and see how she responds.

2. chicken skin bump on back of arms - often result from an omega-3 fatty acid deficiency. dh had the same issue - gave him good doses flax/walnut - and his cleared up also - there are fish oil based supplements - ensure they are mercury-free for your little one

3. skin tags - often result of blood sugar regulation issues - see #1 above - especially elminate refine sugars

I was going to leave it alone but since you are so eloquent with words:

2. I KNEW it was a JOKE! Some did not!!!!!! No one bothered to post a correction with all the gaiety and lonely commiseration going on. When I saw the post this morning, I let people know.
3. The other jokes you are so proud of with your DARK sense of humor were not funny either. People were/are really worried.
4. I'm sorry you are lonesome and without friends. Perhaps if you GOT A LIFE off of here you may be a little happier!

I agree there are leechers. There are many regulars who are kind and helpful. I also admit it gets very old reading the same questions over and over BUT that is not what I was talking about.

I know some who do not like to share info and like to keep it to PM's.

Virtual Box is really easy, it has a set-up wizard. Main things you need are a Windows Install disk with CD Key, and about 10 gigs of free hard drive on your computer. Everything else is cake

I was on the receiving end of 1 of those RAOKs.

My point was a bad joke taken too far. I did not say nor do I believe people should be handed anything. In my field I see too much of that expectation.

You know what I honestly could care less what you think about me,this is the first time I've have ever seen you in tcc or deals, and your first post is how eveyones a bunch of meanies etc. About a harmless joke that was barely even acknowledge. A retraction was intended to be posted but wasn't since no one seemed to care, it was assumed everyone knew it was a harmless joke, for those that are always in the deal thread we are all aware of everyones sense of humor. I am sure the only way you found this thread is due to the knew updates that tell you when your being quoted.

I didn't mean to get your panties in a bunch when I said stfu, but after barely any sleep and a ds who is sick yet again, at this point in my day that's how I am feeling I am tired of all the whining about target making us take mpps out, and receiving random pms about joining a secret society to get those ever so valuable mpps. and how are mpps being taken away is basically the end of targeting all together.

And as for making my mom proud or how you think I don't have a life or any friends, you aren't any better then me, and your post proves it. I offended you and in self defense you are trying to do the same back to me.

And for your fake sincerity on my sick ds, I bet you have no clue why he has fevers or what is really going on in this thread. Why don't you do yourself a favor and read back 10 or 20 pages so you actually no what's going on with everyone here In the tcc thread.
