I think I have overdone it a little bit. I am a bit more emotional than I thought I'd be - and with a sick toddler, demanding baby, and crazy adjusting hormones - I should probably be more laid back than what I was today/yesterday. It's so hard to make myself do nothing though. :(

Jilly was it you asking about coffee? I've still got some from the last good q. Hopefully as the holidays get closer we'll get some more stovetop q's. There's a 1.50 Starbucks q in one of the Publix magazines. Maybe they'll have a SB gc deal soon too.

OMG! That's nuts! Even if the cashier was ringing up 1 bottle of Sobe every 30 seconds, that means it took 2 1/2 hours straight to ring up that one customer's 300 bottles.

I purposely responded to the poster that wanted a condensed version of all the info, via private group, by telling him/her that the deals were in the Wiki and there were the daily recaps.

I read the question as a request of the OP to not to have to bother with reading the posts, etc. such as the rest of us do. It came across to me as an entitlement issue, which does not set well with me. I guess there's supposed to be a CliffsNotes version for special folks. [Do they still publish CliffsNotes?]

Just went in and checked on the baby and there was poop everywhere. All over the crib, all down her leg, caked in her pjs. She was sound asleep and I had to wake her to giver her a bath in the sink and strip the bed. Of course I thought of you guys. Good night.

This year though... it was bad. A pile of gift wrapped fail.

I got a box of "gourmet" hot chocolate from my DBF... when it was over 90 degrees out. That was all he gave me - plus I still have boxes and boxes of Swiss Miss from last year.

His family gave me assorted jewelry - after I had told them only last month I don't like to wear any.

Went to T today with my wife and the baby. He started fussing so my wife scooped him out of the car seat to carry him.
We were almost done with our shopping when my son decides to take a big poop. Poop was all over the front of my wife's shirt and the baby's legs. We might need to move him up a size in diapers.

I found it hilarious but my wife did not. Looks like I'm cooking a special make-up meal tonight.

All I can think is that this person is going to be getting pregnant with sextuplets.

Feeling like crap tonight...my bp is threw the roof... and my back is killing me... darn company needs to go home...thats about it for me... LOL

Other than that my dd Kayla's b-day is tomorrow!! She is super psyched to be turning 8... where does time go? She is by far the best kid ever... she is one of those mellow, passive, sweet kids that always try to help out!! Love her so much..

I hope Myluvjustice's DD has better luck than my kids. Both of my youngest ones have been tested for SCOPE (as it's known here), my DS twice, at their teacher's recommendations, and I have always gotten the rejection letter. My DS, I can understand, he is very smart and ahead of his class, but he is also lazy when it comes to school work, Part of it, I think is boredom, but I can see where that may be a factor.

My DD, I don't understand. Neither do any of her teachers. She just started 2nd grade (she was tested the end of last school year, and they sent me the rejection letter a few days after school was closed for the summer). She is reading at a 5th grade level, doing 4th grade math, and loves school and doing school work. She does all of her weeks homework as soon as she gets home from school on Monday (on her own). She is also a very good girl and school, and is always getting "paw prints" and getting her name in the "caught doing good" jar. She got 1 wrong total out of all of her CRCT testing last year.

I called last week to have a "conference" with the SCOPE teacher about DD's test results, as the rejection letter instructed. The teacher called me back 2 days later, explained that she had to pass 3 of the 4 tests they gave her last year and that my DD had probably only passed 1 or 2 (but didn't know for sure). I felt like saying, "Really Sherlock! I could have figured that out on my own!" After giving me no real information, she asked for my DDs CRCT scores, and hung up. I don't know if she is checking into it (she said several times during the conversation that she would have to pull the file in the office, but never said she would actually do it) or not.

Sorry, it's really a point of frustration with me. For now, I just rely on her teachers, who have been giving her "SCOPE" work since Kindergarten anyways, and the extra work she likes to do at home. Good thing is, she's very motivated to show her brother up, and likes to do his 4th grade homework too.

What kind of tests are the 4 they use? The only actual test we use to qualify kids is an IQ test (currently we're using the WISC IV). We test any kid that is referred by a teacher or a parent.

I haven't read all the follow-up posts but I'm guessing that it was a 'qty' transaction and maybe the coupons were a 'qty' transaction as well... who knows. OR, it could all be BS. That's always a possibility (not saying the poster is lying, maybe the store clerk is exaggerating).

I wonder if she made that up...not unheard of 2 1/2 hrs is just too long
