Oh, she's old enough to know better. laugh out loud I totally thought you were going to say she was 2 or something like that. My DS turned 4 in August and I will tell you that he hates it when I make him "try" to go before we head out somewhere. I can't tell you how many times we've been in T and he's gotten all fidgety and said "I have to poop RIGHT now". I'm always think, if he had tried to go 15 minutes ago before we left the house we wouldn't have this problem. But he doesn't $hit on my floors, so I let it go!

You just need to find out what her currency is. What is it that she really, really loves... and then snatch whatever it is away and flush it down the toilet right in front of her the next time she pulls that crap. Smilie
Maybe you could just rub her nose in it Nono

I know it's not a preferred method, but here's what works with my kids (for doing chores, or just general picking up, but could work for this too).

I have 2 shelves that have a lot of my cheap SD toys (75% clearance, 90% off holiday toys, ect..). This is the "chore store" ( or in your case, the "poop store"?) For every chore they do, or in this case, for every time she uses the potty, she gets a $1 of "poop money". Maybe $1 for peeing, and $2 for pooping? I use some fake money I printed out online. Each item in the "poop store" has a value (usually 2x regular price), and when the store opens once a week, and they get to "cash" in their money for toys.

I had so many little toys, that if I saved them all for Christmas and Birthdays, it would take more in wrapping paper to wrap them then they all cost, and we wouldn't be able to get within 10 feet of the tree Christmas morning. I needed to figure out something to do with them, and something to get my kids off their lazy asses!

No but I remember the ends were very small, almost like a thick wisker. Make sense? And we'd break the ends off and pull apart at the seam and the beans would fall out.
We just called 'em shelley beans. *shrug*

I had a friend who had the cleaning up thing backfire on her because her dd actually liked cleaning it uplaugh out loud Kids.

Personally, if it were my kid, I would first try taking her pants/undies away completely while at home....maybe compensate by letting her wear a longer shirt or nightgown at home since she is older. And if she still likes making a mess on *herself* then I would probably watch her like a hawk, try to catch her when she needs to go and be very clear that the proper place to go is the toilet....even if it means physically taking her there. If she is doing it right @ school she should be able to do it right at home. You just might have to become her shadow so she literally cannot do it anymoreEvil Kinda mess up her routine that has become 'normal' I guess...

I agree with trying the naked thing.. worked for my DD.. She would poop as soon as I put her panties back on, but if they were off, she wouldn't go..
And yeah, I would think at 4 years old, if she can hold it and knows to wait until she gets home and wipes on the carpet, she should be able to stop going in her pants.. Maybe a control issue??

Bunnies, I have so many MCR 12 pack flaps I could build a house with them. I'll send them to you as soon as I get a chance. Don't hold your breath though, I'm the world's biggest lazyass.

I really liked that assrod word from UD today.
oooh, if you have a few extra, I would love a couple. I was trying to redeem some points the other night and was 45 points away. I tried digging around for flaps and didn't find any.

Teri - I wish I had time to stop and visit.. would love a target run too.. But, with my toddler, a car trip is always a challenge and we never know how long we will be able to drive before we stop. took us almost 6 hours to get here and my oldest DS is already complaining about not making it home early enough on sunday to finish his homework before classes on Monday.

Stacy - Wave welcome! Sadly, I haven't gotten many toothbrushes lately.. so, there must be another couponer taking them allWink I printed a bunch of colgate coupons to use while I was here before the coupon expired and the target here doesn't have the cheap ones..
As far as the towels go.. our store has gotten impossible lately. I only use beepers when one of 2 cashiers I like is working.. Most of the other ones are horrible. I argued with one of the GSTL girls one night about the c9 socks.. she was very ugly and made me find the words c9 and champion on the package.. and she refused the kids denim on toddler jeans..

LTL7- your fall break isn't until october?? The public schools where we are in GA are on fall break this next week. My kids are HS so we just break whenever.. But, I do recommend MB.. The rates in the fall are so much cheaper.. We just find a resort with lots of pools and lazy rivers.. we just hang here and relax. We have a kitchen so we don't really have to eat out much either!

On the dieting front.. I have eaten so bad the last 2 days.. I feel horribleFrown I was trying not to stress and just enjoy vacation.. but I actually feel kinda gross from eating too much.. I did have my first ever red robin burger tonight and thought it was very good!

L2bAm, you got it! I'll send you some.

LTL, that is a VERY good idea and I bet you I have enough stuff to stock 2 aisles in Target so I'm gonna try it. I'm going to have DH go up there and pick out toys, small toys, that they reeeeally want. I will sticker them and go to the dollar store and buy fake monopoly money. Going to put this "store" in my closet and make a sign that says "open" and "closed."

I'm very excited about this idea. Evil

I don't know about being thin... I'm 3/4 of the way into a pint of B&J Brownie Chewgooder. But we start Monday, right?

Would you believe I totally thought that Q was one of the 8/28 exp ones. I was reading deals the other day and was thinking... wtf, why are all these idiots using expired Qs and bragging about it. Then I realized it wasn't expired! Roll

Good idea! I have some Monster Cookie Ice Cream that needs some eating Evil

Yep, I'm in Barrow County, we don't have fall break until Oct 4-8. I am scoping out Destin . Last time we went in Oct, it was really good weather, and the ocean was still warm. Supposedly, the beaches and water are clear Dontknow I see they are running a special, if you reserve a 2-night or longer stay at a hotel there after Sept 17, you get a $200 debit card for use during your stay. Could mean a free hotel, since we'd only be there 2 nights anyways. DH doesn't get to take days off yet.
