LTL, that is a VERY good idea and I bet you I have enough stuff to stock 2 aisles in Target so I'm gonna try it. I'm going to have DH go up there and pick out toys, small toys, that they reeeeally want. I will sticker them and go to the dollar store and buy fake monopoly money. Going to put this "store" in my closet and make a sign that says "open" and "closed."

As far as the towels go.. our store has gotten impossible lately. I only use beepers when one of 2 cashiers I like is working.. Most of the other ones are horrible. I argued with one of the GSTL girls one night about the c9 socks.. she was very ugly and made me find the words c9 and champion on the package.. and she refused the kids denim on toddler jeans..
Regarding MCR - I do them too! Except the program stinks lately, I dunno what to do with all my points.

I was just sitting here thinking that I think Christmas has gotten kind of boring around here. Or maybe, more to the point, Christmas Shopping has gotten boring.
We have my mom, hubby's dad and wife (my dad & his mom are dead), son, and daughter. The kids are 20 and 23 so Santa stopped coming last year or year before.
We stopped buying for each other a few years back. There is just really nothing either of us want or need and it was just buying for the sake having something to wrap. (Hubby got me really good stuff too!) So a few years ago, we decided no gifts, we would take that money and take a little trip or get something that we both want or ??.
So, basically, I have four gifts to buy and since two are for parents -- 75 & 80.... BORING. My kids aren't even any fun to shop for anymore.
My son is attempting to join the military, so it's not like he needs more crap to store if he gets in. (He had a stroke as a child, so he's jumping thought medical hoops). Daughter still lives at home, so what the hell does she need? She works, she saves like crazy, so she can afford what she wants. In fact she just bought (cash) a little red convertible.
Ok, so enough of my little "I don't get to shop" pity party. On the upside, I don't have to go out in public and deal with people.
