C9 expires today

I live in a small town too, but our neighbor is a piano teacher. I want to get my DS in piano lessons, but she's always busy. My DS has my DH's music ear, perfect tone, can be shown something once and remember months from now, ect..

You can always try a local church, usually they have a Piano player, and a lot of times, they give lessons.

(But did you know that they double coupons [pamida.com]?)

Edit: After I said that, I thought I'd better check to make sure they still do double. Sure enough, they are doubling right now (Sept. 8 - 14) and there are a few decent deals. No limits are mentioned.

Era 50 oz. $3 = $1 (08-29-10 SS) = $1
Twizzlers $1.50 - $0.55 (08-15-10 SS) = $0.40
Gatorade $1 - $1/2 tearpad = 2 free
Bic Pens 10 ct. $1 - $1/2 (08-01-10 SS) = 2 free
Softsoap $1 - $0.50 IP = Free
Garnier Fructis - $3 - $1 (08-08 or 09-12 SS) = $1
Ball Canning Supplies 25% off - $1 (??) = $?
Shocking I didn't know they were still in business laugh out loud around here, they were nastier than KM. Sick

It's amazing how much she's changed and grown already. She can turn her head to look for me or her daddy when she hears our voices, and I swear there are times she's trying to mimic our faces or mouth movements. She watches EVERYTHING so intently (when she's awake!) It's amazing.

Until you can find a teacher start teaching yourself. You may already know how, but if you don't read music start learning that. Grab a beginner piano book and just start with the fingers in the right places and learning little bits.

You live in the big city, huh, put up an ad at your grocery store. My town doesn't have a grocery store.

Here's your spider info. He is a garden spider. Harmless.

"Black and Yellow Garden Spiders are harmless to humans. Because they are large, many people fear them; however, not only are they harmless, but they do a lot of good. These spiders eat large amounts of insect pests, such as flies, mosquitoes, and aphids."

Ank, I've done the Soothie brand since I had my son in NICU. All of my babies took a pacifier but all of them weaned themselves off before 3 months of age. The only one that didn't was River and she decided a few months ago she didn't want it anymore and that was that!
Okay - I'll look for that today. Do they sell 'em at Target? Big Grin

And I love the name River, btw...

Silly me, I have some nerve getting mad at her for sneaking & letting her friend, who is also 17 & not covered on our insurance, drive one of our cars.

I have a toaster like that - blah. I still haven't bought a better one though - probably won't unless it's free or someone gives it to us or this one dies. And even then, I may not... lol. I used to just put toast under the broiler in the oven. laugh out loud

I play the violin better because it's a little easier to transport and keep around - *laugh*, but I'd love to get back to playing piano. My toddler is especially enamoured with pianos, so she would be soooo excited to have one.

Iagree That's a good idea... also, if there's a local college nearby (or even a high school with a decent music program), you could see if there is a student willing to give lessons. It'd be a good starting point.

All spiders are evil. Kill it now. Then go out and look for his friends and kill them too. Do you part to save America -- kill the freakin' spiders.

We have a spider bush... It's a pine bush right on the corner of the house and it's FULL of webs. They don't bother me, so I leave 'em alone... as long as we both have that understanding, I'm kewl with it...

Around here they are called "orb weavers". They build very beautiful, intricate webs, usually overnight. My DH is terrified of spiders, and he let one of those stick around on our front porch at our old house. Of course, we always used the garage to get in the house, so it didn't bother him.

It's a really pretty spider. I'm not scared of spiders, I just couldn't believe how big it was. I researched online before I even posted it. Beautiful colored spider. DH put it right back against the fence where we found it.

Got my ink now I can print. Evil

Grr... may not get out today. Too rainy and I hate to drag the baby out through this.

I'm thinking I did something to my ankle. It's been hurting for a long time, but with the pregnancy, I just figured it had been related to that. It has looked swolen around my ankle bone for a while too, and again - I blamed it on the pregnancy. Well - I'm 3 weeks (almost) past that, and it's still painful and swollen looking. I think I did something to the tissue or ligaments or something around the ankle. It would probably not be quite as bad if I wasn't in the horrible habit of sitting on my leg either! UGH!!!

Who knows - maybe they'll do another c9 q (that maybe works this time??!!) and/or a kids clothing q - cuz I could use some for my suddenly-sprouting toddler.

Glad to see the playtex deal is going for a little while. I got a nice surprise envie in the mail and plan to use 'em!! Smilie Yay!

ETA:

Oh - and I have been very non-diety today... I've at a chocolate cake donut and a cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese. It was good. Very good. Big Grin

FWIW, I don't think anyone MA'ed new names. Any forum I've ever been on and worked will throw up a red flag for multiple accounts from the same IP.

Also, spiders are evil. I am horribly afraid of spiders (even looking at that picture made me freak out and cry- how pathetic is that?). I've found that spraying them with air freshener and then throwing a cup over them kills 'em. Stupid bugger should know better than to get into my house!

I only wish I had room for mine at this house Frown I've played for a long time, now I have to go to my mom's or out to the church if I want to practice because of the lack of space. I blame my dd - she came along and all her stuff took up the space laugh out loud
