fixing to load up my kids + 1 of the neighbor kids and haul them to target. Wish me luck!

I did not know Kraft made Tassimo coffee discs. That stuff is like 9.99 a box and that's just so pricey.

Oh.. btw.. I found a tearpad at Tom Thumb for BOGO kraft jell-o.

Evil

See you all later! Peace, love, and towels.

I just figure the baby can sleep in the piano bench if it has to... laugh out loud

LMAOWell, that's one approach! I prefer the smash them into smithereens, assuring that it is totally dismembered and all internal organs are eradicated procedure. Of course, this is performed with a long, large object so I don't have to get too close. Shovels work well.

See, now Ank, knows what's she's doin'. DD doesn't need all that stuff, make her choose -- a bed or toys, what's it gonna be!

I have been in the garage reorganizing my crap. I think it's a good thing that KMart ruined their double coupon events. Back when those started and there was a 25 coupon up to $2 limit. I did, umm, rather well. It's the one time living where I do paid off. I may have to drive over an hour each way (about 55 miles) to Target or Wal-Mart, but I had a KMart 8 miles down the road in the next town and it's all highway, I could be in the door in 10 minutes.

I can't smash them- the sound of them crunching gives me the creeps.

My dad also does not appreciate calls from his crying 25 year old daughter to come kill a bug.

I had a couple of those buy 2 lunch box items, get one free cats. I bought the breakfast bars for just over $2. The other day hubby grabbed a box and took them to work with him. He spends a lot of time in his truck driving over his territory, testing, etc. and right now he is training another man.

He grabbed a breakfast bar and offered one to other guy. But does he just say, "would you like one of these?". Oh, no, what he said is, "you want one of these, my wife probably either got them free or they paid her to take them".

They guy is a little confused, needless to say. So, hubby says, "what, I haven't told you about her couponing before?". He proceeded to tell him all about it. Including the one time I really really screwed up and Walgreens actually handed my my bags and CASH back.

I swear, it's true. Was out of town and did a quick run in there one night. It was literally just coupon stacking, sales and clearance. There weren't even any RR involved. Several things rang up less than they were tagged and I think there was something else off (it's been a while) because my total after coupons was negative. They actually handed me the cash.

I can't hear the crunching over the screaming. (Mine, not the spider's)

FWIW, I don't think anyone MA'ed new names. Any forum I've ever been on and worked will throw up a red flag for multiple accounts from the same IP.

Also, spiders are evil. I am horribly afraid of spiders (even looking at that picture made me freak out and cry- how pathetic is that?). I've found that spraying them with air freshener and then throwing a cup over them kills 'em. Stupid bugger should know better than to get into my house!

Got my answer from the mod on multiple accounts. We can have 1 account per user. My DH can sign up even though we have the same IP. Mods will look at activity and posting style and this is how they determine it is different peeps.

I ALWAYS spray any type of bug with hairspray first. If no one is home to save me, I spray again, do a quick panic and then come up with a plan of action.

Someone asked what the red is when you get a warning..it's a red written warning under your avatar that only you can see. Warnings come in different numbers I believe. I am at 1.
Mine expires in 30 days.

I didn't know about the multiple-user-accounts-per-IP-address rule. Need to read the rules better I guess. Interesting to know in case another family member wanted to join. The red just says 'warn level' and is on the left-hand side under 'reputation' if you have it. I don't think others can see it though?? Dontknow

I can't smoosh 'em eitherLMAO I just run. And scream. I got spooked a couple times by the garden ones this year just cuz they are so darn big and I'd never had a garden before....yeah if you're thinking about a garden and don't like spiders and bugs ya might wanna think again. I can't believe how many harmless bugs having a garden attracts. But on the plus side they are all staying outside this year and I haven't had many inside.

I don't really blame the teachers....I think if I was a teacher and I was paying that much OOP on stuff I would not want to have to do it. But asking the parents to foot that bill more and more and more isn't exactly fair either....since they're usually paying a registration fee and money for supplies and sometimes textbook fees and other misc. fees. So much for free education LMAO Personally I think *before* the schools increase my property taxes they should have to have a balanced budget to begin with. That way I know they are being responsible with my hard-earned money.

In balancing a family budget I've learned that if the money isn't there, we don't spend it. We don't create more debt. We don't ask someone else to pay the bills for us. You start cutting out the least important stuffWink We just recently went through this whole thing here....all the debates within the community, etc. like I know a lot of ppl have probably had. But it just kills me when I hear, 'How dare you cut (insert random extracurricular activity) that?!? It's important!!!' Weeeellllll, common sense tells me that yes, it is important, but no, it isn't an absolute necessity and there are more important things to need to spend money on when we only have 'x' amount of dollars. And then next thing I know nothing is cut and my prop. taxes go up. The end. laugh out loud

I am just bitter today about everything going upTeehee Found out electricity (which is on the budget plan so it doesn't fluctuate each month) is going up $43/month Annoyed And what KILLS me is that our kWh usage is LOWER than what it was this month last year Scratchchin Our electric provider just sees fit to raise their rates constantly.

Thanks!

So my trip to T was the BEST TRIP EVER!! Yahoo!

I was worried, since the computers were down. Registers still worked, but weren't hooked up to the mainframe. I had some towels, C9, some RE home essentials, so lots of beepers. I got a lot of other stuff that doesn't beep (Glade fall scents, Colgate, ect..) Even some things that I had to "pay" for EEK!

Well, since the registers were down, EVERY COUPON SCANNED, none beeped, and nothing attached except a few of the MQs I had. This means I also received my TM discount on the total (was over $23 just for the discount)! I went to Lowes, and ran back to use my last 4 C9 coupons. 2nd time wasn't so good, it $0 out, which I never do, and was really embarrassed that it did. All in all, I spent $13.xx for 2 trips to T.

I finally purchased a memory card for my phone, so I can get pics off.

For Stacy, T sells Beginner Piano books, to teach yourself how to play piano.

The 2nd is the "Old Man" mask I was telling you guys about. I will be so happy if they ever listen to me and pull it. It's just not right!

LMAO

My DH & DS#1 do the *exact* same thing. Now, granted, I am not in any way ashamed of anything that I do deal-wise. But, still, you don't *always* want the first thing a new person thinks about you to be "Boy, is that lady cheap!" laugh out loud

-----------------------
As for the spider-hating, I'm totally on-board. For example, I've let the boys (including DH Wink) have just about whatever pets in the house they've wanted. We've had scorpions before and currently have an iguana and a ball python. I'm cool w/all of that.

But they better not ever even *think* about bringing a tarantula or anything like that in here! Nono My DH used to catch wolf spiders outside when he was young & bring them inside as pets.... Not a chance in heck is that going to fly here! Ranting

Did the Target Circuit this morning -- hit 4 stores.

Found some pretty silver bath waste baskets on clearance for $13.xx - Home Brand Bath Q. bounce

Different C9 items. One store still had the boyfriend's t-shirt at full price -- What are they waiting on? Got free men's pants, men's shorts, golf shirt, boyfriend's tank tops, women's slides.

At one store while checking out, I had split my order into 4 transactions. Had my coupons out. 2 people asked where do I find TQs -- told them target.com. One gal saw that I was buying C9s and using Qs. She very politely asked me if I happened to an extra one since she was buying some shorts. I gave her a Q and she got giddy.

Bye C9 and Colgate. You served us well.

I was Christmas shopping yesterday with the C9 Q. Speaking of cheap, is it because folks don't need it that they won't pay $1.98 after Q for a clothing item (many of which are multi-packs)? Why bitch and moan in the deals thread because your T doesn't have the same C9 markdown. I looked at a $29.99 C9 jacket last night. . . no I didn't buy it because I needed to talk to the SIL before buying, but if it's under $10 AC I think it's great on good quality, name brand clothing.

Remember that I'm buying for SIL, my brother and their 8 kids (plus her DIL).

I don't know about the folks in the deals thread, but I donate a lot of the sweet deals [such as C9] that we find at Target. So the higher the discount on the item, the more I can buy and more people will get helped out.

That, plus I am cheap [but good]! Big Grin
