Speaking of uti I kinda feel like I'm getting one I know to drink lots of fluid, cranberry juice etc, but didn't someone mention white grape juice?
I had one that turned into a kidney infection last month. It hit bad in the middle of the night on a Friday (of course). So I googled it. Found that drinking baking soda mixed with water helps. I tried it out and was pain free and back to sleep within 1/2 hour. Didn't cure me, but sure helped out a ton!

Yeah, it's a good thing I am not in the market for a job. I'm just afraid my response to that would be something along the lines of, "that's the dumbest damn question I have ever been asked. Now, move on to something pertinent you little dipshit".
LMAO Sounds like something I would say...

Me too... but last year I had some amazing black friday Target runs... all 5 of them Wink So it kinda made up for all the "other" shopping I had to do but didn't get to it... it's all ok LOL I did sooooo much shopping that day... luv'ed it!!
Love Target BF! I buy all my stuff the week before, then go in on Fri/Sat for a price match!! look around

Yeah it's plugged in. It's draining but not spinning. Repair man is coming at 6:30 AM tomorrow. Thank goodness I am usually up at that time.
You might try googling your problem and the type of washing machine. We saved ourselves $300 last year when ours broke. DH went and bought a $12 part and fixed it himself.

A can of fix a flat really works , instead of a plugWink I always have one in my car.
WinkI was a girl scout..
It does work, but it will make it so that the tire can never be repaired again. Also will void any warranty you might have on your tires. FYI FWIW.

Dontknow And personally I don't like the fat free varieties (do like the 1/3 fat varieties or whatever they're called) so I just eat them in moderation. I love counting WW points, there is no elimination of anything....just a lot of counting, calculating, and choices Big Grin About the only place I like cream cheese is on a bagel or in a cheesecake yummy
Do u have to be a member to ww to see the points list?

I'm not sure what's going to work well the atkins is hard I don't feel full cutting out my carbs so far, but maybe I'm used to being stuffed, so I will keep trying.

Today I had oatmeal for breakfast w/ a cup of coffee but I only drank 1/3 of it,
1/2 a peanut butter sandwich and cran straw juice for lunch, and a cup of carrots sticks and a quarter sz dallup of ranch w/ water for a snax.

I sucked on my diet today.

I ate a small fry with TONS of Zesty sauce from Burger King, an english muffin with turkey sausage on it, and tonight I will have a bowl of stew that has been slow cooking since last night.

My house would smell yummy right now if Ambree hadn't caught a cracker on fire in the microwave.

I swear this child will drive me batty before she's 3.

Forgot to ad, I haven't had any soda today bounce that's a huge accomplishment for me.

So I'm thinking of making buffallo wings for the family , I might bake me a chicken breast and lightly baste with hotwing sauce. And salad for a side.

I can tell ya from experience, that it will take several days of doing low carb before the hunger feeling passes.. But, if you are truly hungry, they advise you to eat.. Just make it something low carb. Have a boiled egg, piece of string cheese, pickles, SF jello, etc... Once I got started into the low carb eating and my bloodsugar stabilized, my appetite drastically decreased.
I had a coworker a few years ago tell me that she couldn't believe how little I ate for a 12 hour shift at work.. But, I didn't ever truly get hungry.. I just ate when I knew I should. It is also best to make sure you don't go longer than 6 hours without eating. I worked night shift and would take some pepperoni slices for a snack, and for my evening meal I would eat homemade chicken salad with chicken, mayo, pickles, and celery.. I would eat a small bowl of the chicken salad along with a slice of cheese.. And then before I left work in the morning, I would eat a boiled egg.. of course, I was also chugging my water all night as well..

btw, what kind of dogs? HUGS!!

I guess $250 is cheaper than buying a new one... but geez.. ours is only 2 years old so it makes me wanna cry LOL
This is why when I buy an appliance I buy one with the fewest options I can find. No computer boards or fancy do-dads.

One is a German Shepherd. The other one is Golden Retrieve and Husky mix according to the people who gave her to us. She does look it but isn't nearly as big as she sounds -- she's only about 35 lbs.

My GSD is a ham and was quite happy to pose for a new picture. Sugar couldn't be bothered.

Makena got off the bus crying again today. I called the supervisor of the bus company and he's pulling the video tapes to see what's happening. Tanner said that bus driver screams at them all the time and there are 85 kids on that bus. OMG.

Ok, here is a .pdf [mediafire.com] of how to get to the lid switch in a Maytag, but I believe most top load washers are about the same.
Thanks guys for the great responses...here is what we have:

Google is useless...well not really, more like I am a chicken.
I discovered I have a magnetic lid switch.
I figured out how to open the washing machine.
I also figured out that I needed to pull the thing out to get to the back of it, to unplug the lid switch. In order to get to the back..I need to remove the door and pull it out across the hardwood floor. (Laundry is on the first floor in the second bathroom).

DH is NOT usefull when it comes to ANYTHING that has more then one part.

DH relies on me to figure out the broken stuff..either I fix it myself or call a repair man.

I am going to rely on the repair man. And then the kicker will be...DH will say to me...try to be more careful with the washing machine in the future. (as if the washing machine is my bff and I am addicted to it and laundry is my most favorite thing)

ACK..sorry for the rant. Just don't need this right now and we can't afford this right now.

The poor sweetie. I hope you can find out what's going on. Are they going to call you back?

Ummm, what you are eating is not Atkins. Without actually knowing exact measurements and calculating I would guess that with the oatmeal, juice, bread, ranch, and carrots, you have consumed a couple weeks worth of carbs. Basically, each and everyone of those things is forbidden during induction and most of them during Phase 2.
The limit is 20 net carbs per day. Total Carbs - Fiber = Net Carbs.

What she is saying is dead on. There is NO reason to be hungry doing Atkins. Don't forget, nearly all meat is carb free and is very filling and satisfying. At 1/2 carb each, eggs are filling.
I make deviled eggs to snack on. 1/2 carb per egg and so each one is only 1/4 carb. (I use white vinegar & mayo so no carbs added to devil them)

Thank sjm, I may try that, I'm feeling off today in general so maybe its not a uti?

Thanks love2be, I hope the hungry feelinmg will go away because I really wanna stick to it and loose weight. I think not drinking soda is playing a big role in my hunger feelings, because I always felt full when drinking it and now I don't have that feeling since I cut back on the soda.

Google your specific model for instructions to bypass it. Better yet, slip out of this thread and into the rest of the lounge and give Biker Eric a holler.

In case you don't know him, he is an appliance repair man and he helps people here fix their own stuff.

I'd probably gag and duct tape them. Oh wait. That's why I don't work with large groups of children.

Yeah, I'm not doing any specific diet. I just eat what I want when I'm hungry. I just don't eat the big sugar things like candy, I don't eat chips, nothing deep fried (cept those yummo fries today), and I eat in moderation. I also stay active so I don't sit around and eat all day.

Yes, the supervisor for the bus company is supposed to call me back. It might be a year from now.

Yep.. That is what I love about low carb.. I love that if I am hungry, I can eatBig Grin I used to keep deviled eggs made up in the fridge for a quick snack.. The protein and fat combo does wonders for keeping you satisfied longer.

Today, I am not a poster child for good eating though.. I have been celebrating my birthday and have had alot of "junk" food.. I actually can't wait to get back on track though.. I feel kinda yucky and bloated today!

Well I know I'm not actually on atkins, I don't have any information on it besides cutting carbs, I need to get a book to read, so I understand it more, I tried signing up in tccd the link I think u posted? But it wouldn't go
Through. Like I said before I just kinda jumped into this diet thing feet first without any preparations, so I need to sit down when I have time and get a plan and menu down.
