So happy for you! However if you don't offer up details soon, we ar going to revolt against you!! Now hussle up woman. Sheesh...we are living vicariously through you! worship

Thanks my mean friends for all the tips on the washer. I am not sure what we are going to do yet. The one thing I am sure of is...no craig's list.

Finally..someone else has jumped on the towel train!! I have at least 18 of them. All the old towels went to the animal shelter. Now that you have tested the waters. go forth and get more towels! They are nice towels. And who doesn't like new towels?
My DH doesn't like the towels I got! I bought the "Fast Dry" ones for our bathroom, and all he has done is complain about them since I bought them home. "Did you wash them" yes, "Do they dry you" yes, "it feels like the water is still sitting on me", ect.. I told him we have plenty of other clean towels in the closet (which is in the bathroom, right next to the shower) and he can get one of those, but he'd rather just bitch about them.

If it wasn't for the fact that I put down a deposit for a Cruise today that he is paying for, I'd shove those towels somewhere that he would need them surgically removed! Evil

Congrats! Welcome to the Team Yahoo!

Just remember to put off as much T shopping as you can until after orientation. That is when you will get your TM discount card! Then, go nuts!

Also, don't forget, TQs in Red Magazine in the break room! Really, really good ones. Big Grin

School stuff finally went 75% off here. So did Garden. I picked up a bunch of bags of Scott's Turf Builder for $3.24/ea. I picked up another Case-It binder for 75% off, going to take the one I got at 50% back. They were resetting Sporting Goods today, so scour those endcaps for clearance stuff that was hiding behind other things.
Slushie and Snow Cone makers also went 75% (they didn't go with the summer stuff here). And, there was a Toaster Oven for 75% off, which made it $19.xx. Looked really nice, but wasn't sure of the brand or anything, they were the displays.

I found one of those mental note things on my Christmas List today for 75% off. A Kitchen - Aid probe thermometer. The kind that Alton Brown uses. I had 2, but one stopped working a few years ago, and the other one is pretty crappy. I was very happy about that! It was only $6.24.

Best part about putting a deposit on a cruise today, it's still early enough that I can buy summer clothes and swimsuits for the kids and DH for Christmas, and we'll have a reason to use them. I'm excited!

Time to go change out of my Red & Khaki, since I need to go to the Athens T now, I have a prescription to pick up, and a few other things to look at Wink

Dreeme: Good luck on the interview! If I was called in for an interview, they would see me walk through the door and say "Oh, hell no!" LMAO

M2C: If I plan on visiting a store often, I normally do a test run, but usually with less than 5 Qs. Like to see if the cashier can read and write Wink But the stores I visited yesterday are too far for me to make it a regular date, so I just went right for it. Worst thing that can happen is I have a higher than expected OOP.

I was able to get 2 towels yesterday Whee k1 was no problem
hug Thank you. I was out of town so I couldn't remind anyone. laugh out loud

eta Child height predictor:

my now 14 yr old dd, couldn't put in her info because it only goes to 12. She's 5'8.

11.5 yr old dd- currently 5'4, estimated height 5'7

8 yr old ds- currently 58 inches, estimated height 6'6

3 yr old ds- currently 41 inches, estimated height 6'4

I'm just a smidge under 6 ft, my dh is just under 6'2 so we know the kids will be average or taller.

For all my Hy-Vee peeps: FREEEEEEE cat litter Friday and Saturday!!!!!! I posted details in the Hy-Vee thread! We need it too. Now if our cat will cooperate with this cat litter and not decide that she needs to poo elsewhere. I think I will sneak it in on her gradually. We are almost out of litter anyway so perfect!

Oh and I found this cool website where you can see what your child's height may be when older. Based on my son's height now, my height, and DH's height, it's a 90% chance that tanner will be +/- 2.0 inches from 6'6" EEK!

Thx for the link...dd's was 5' even....she will probably be a shorty like meBig Grin

This will help you if you have an 'off the diet' day. I read somewhere where WW had done a study that people who splurged on calories one day, but got back on the next actually lost more weight than remaining on their diet all the time. Something about shaking up their metabolism
I would so think this would be the case....I think it helps psychologically just to be able to do this now and again too....and to realize that eating healthy and losing weight doesn't mean you can't ever indulge!

Well today I am doing ok I guess I had one cup of coffee and been drinking lots of water. And I ate 1/2 cup of dry blueberry special k cereal. I think I am not going to do atkins, but may do a low carb diet instead, I'm still undecided.

Thanks.

I am not finding the Q-Tip coupon on Red Plum. I am assuming that I just missed it. If it's somewhere else, please let me know.

I cannot clean Jalapeno peppers. They don't burn my hands and I can eat them (cooked) but the burn my lungs to the point that I can't breath. I have tried a face mask, multiples layers of towel over my mouth and nose, and cleaning them under water. Doesn't work. Any other ideas? I have this really delicious stuff pepper recipe that I can't make. Hubby's suggestion was, "can't you find them already cleaned"? Um, yeah, right down the street at the we'll clean your produce stand.

Congratulations Jamie! Dh has been tossing around the idea of being transferred to Dyess AFB (Abilene). TX just got much more appealing. Evil
