I'm boring. The only flavored coffee I like is Mocha, otherwise I just like Columbian, so I ordered one box of breakfast blend, and the rest Columbian. I used to like flavored coffees but not so much anymore.

Ok ladies..., I woke to reading FB today and saw that a girl (I barely knew her) that her 8 year old son died in a house fire... she posted it like hours after it happened on there... now I read the newspaper and saw that he died b/c him and his 12 year old brother and their friend were putting gasoline all over a room and then they sent the 8 year old in there to light a match and he was burnt to death..it is a horrible story.. very sad and my heart goes out to this little 8 year old. However, I am curious as to WHY IN THE HELL IS YOUR 8 YEAR OLD IN AN ABANDONED BUILDING!?!

First off, that's a horrible horrible tragedy. I feel so bad for her and I agree on the age vs abandoned building. It's unfortunate and there's things I never want to wish I could take back.

I bought ambree a little play vaccuum for christmas. He (edited to say, scratch that. IT) had a hose and these tiny balls that pop around when you turn it on. I was on the computer one day engrossed in something (probably this thread laugh out loud), dh was watching TV, and DD was playing with the vaccuum. I fnally looked over at the same time DH did and she was naked on the couch vacuuming her vagina while singing songs.

Ank - I can totally sympathize with ya.. My toddler is horrible in stores.. Heck, in restaurants too. That is the main reason I didn't want to go on this girls shopping day today. I had to fight her in the fast food place for 30 minutes, and then in a clothes store for 1 hour. She was yelling and trying to climb in the clothes racks. She exhausts me.. None of my other kids were ever that way. I usually won't even go if I have to take her with me.

I made a cup of coffee with my machine.. It wasn't as good as I expected.. guess I need to try another kind. I made the van houtte french vanilla. I love vanilla but this coffee was way stronger than I like mine. Guess I need to try a few varieties before I decide on something.

I want more towels *sigh*.. I am too chicken to try unless a good cashier is working.. I am hoping for good results tomorrow!

setsail and jamie - your kid stories just cracked me up tonight.. Kinda nice to hear other peoples kids do crazy things too!

Meeshe, that is an awful, awful story. I just can't imagine.

I was mortified at the time that my youngest likes to scream about his penis in public but it wasn't the first time. Come to think of it, the previous time was in Target as well, though a different store, and he was tired of being there. Maybe he saw it as a quick way out? lol

love2beeamom, I don't remember where I read this, maybe here or a parenting board, but someone suggested bringing Playdoh into the restaurant. I had the first in- restaurant meal I've had in well over a year for my birthday. We went to Olive Garden. I packed a Thomas backpack with a portable Thomas set (with 3 trains) and 2 cans of Playdoh. He ate, played, and we would rotate the toys so he didn't get bored. Worked like a charm.

l2bam - which size did you brew it on?? If your machine has the different size options try it on a larger size and it will be less strong....unless you had it on the biggest one to begin with!

I agree completely... I am just thinking that none of my kiddos leave my sight unless they are at families homes... I am a wee bit super overprotective... I guess because like you said you just never know. We all have things we wish we could take back but I am just so saddened by an 8 year old losing his life in such a horrid way, you kwim?

Ok... guys does anyone know of any printable leapfrog coupons? I am seeking some as they have the annual Buy 2 get 1 free sale @ TRU!!

There are LF coupons in tomorrow's SS. And somewhere there are printables that expire 9/30. Let me see if I still have the links.

LMAO so my dog just jumped up on the couch and settled in beside me (yorkie). I reach over to give her a pet and feel something on her back that is kinda yucky, and I can't figure out what it is. Kinda feels like a worm and I went into a panic. I go get a towel and pull it out of her hair and it's a spaghetti noodle all twisted up in her fur LMAO Earlier when I was cooking pasta, I dropped a noodle and she was by my feet, but when I looked down I didn't see it so I thought she ate it.

I think it's time for me to go to bed Roll

Yeah, I am gonna try that next time. I brewed it on small cup cause I wasn't sure how much was gonna come out and I didn't want my cup to run overLMAO But that stuff was so strong that I had to add a ton of creamer..

Reminds me of a coffee story.. I like coffee, but mine is definitely a love of the different flavor creamers, with a touch of coffee.. I used to drink starbucks vanilla latte like crazy. We were having an outdoor event a few years ago and it was quite chilly. One of the guys from church asked if I wanted him to get one of the big containers of coffee from SB and bring it for everyone to drink.. I thought it was a great idea.. Well, I had obviously never had brewed coffee from SB.. I added 12 of those vanilla creamer cups to my coffee mug and still couldn't drink the stuff. That coffee was sooo strong!
