Happy b-day Gator, hope it is a great one!!

Weigh In: I'm up .2 this week and I am mother farking pissed. I have been so so so good and I can't believe I'm up. Makes me want to eat a pie. I'm hoping I'm just retaining a bunch of water from being on my feet and running around all day. Damn, it sucks. Sadwalk

I weigh in my pjs. But I always weigh wearing the same thing. The baby got a hold of the scale this week and was pushing it around the bedroom. I'm going to just say that she threw off the calibration and that's why I was up. I think it will make me feel better to just blame the kid. Wink
Awwwww hug I'm sorry m2c!!! I wonder if the party yesterday just kind of through everything off - did you eat more later in the day than usual? I know you said you were really good yesterday...I usually try to keep my pattern of eating to what's 'normal' for me on the day before I weigh in 'cause sometimes that will throw your weight off for a day or soDontknow Maybe re-weigh-in tomorrow AM?? Or at least maybe next week you will have a super big week since this one just didn't show on the scale this AM? And the kids messing with it seriously could have done something to it - mine's finnicky like that too. In some ways I liked the old-school non-digital scales better; I think they were a little more accurate and less finicky though harder to read.

And don't eat a whole pie LOL - or at least if you eat a whole pie let it be your entire points for the day or something Wink Teehee

Jilly, if you still need some I probably have 5-7 I can RAOK to you!! I can send some of the $1/1 Mr Clean if you need those too. You're in Missouri right? I wouldn't think they'd take too long from IA to there!

Iagree

They do enough monitoring of transactions. I'm not GIVING them another tool.
For heaven sakes I'm shopping and spending my money, shouldn't need national security clearance for that.

HAD a T charge that would be a resounding NO.Wink escape from the coop.

Ty.. but not happening hereshake head
I got there around 11. There were a few ladies who had their carts loaded with Zhu Zhus, since they are B2G1F. No signs up, but they had 2 of each of the big bubble packs, series 1-6. So I just spent $9x.xx on 12 pks of stupid Squinkies! I have no idea why, since I probably won't give them to my daughter, she loses too many things, the they are little! I may change my mind, since she "wants" them, but she also wants Monster High dolls, which are bigger and harder to lose. I am holding on to the receipt, if they turn out to be the hot toy, I'll probably flea bay 'em.

I'm in a very "blah" mood. I even went to Publix and hardly used any Qs Faint I did get a bunch of stuff we actually need, and a ton of ingredients for my fat-free diet, which is now going to start tomorrow.

I have had so much stress this week! My female poodle is in heat, so the male is acting out. I've started a new medicine, which is messing with my heart rate, again. The piles of parts not needed for the Tesla Coil are taking over the house. My DD is getting sick, and each day her cough is sounding closer and closer to pneumonia, again! Of course, she gets sick during the 13 days we don't have insurance. My Q binder has been messed up, and I haven't had the energy to fix it. Our TL is back from Vacation, so everyone is in a bad mood and things aren't getting done at work. I could go on, but this list is depressing enough.

Of course, I did book a cruise this week, which is more stress for me. Gotta get the kids in swim lessons, find a place to board the dogs, get them all their shots before then, coordinating everything else in the world, and paying for it!

Sorry, bitching over. Back to your regular thread about poop! laugh out loud

I am assuming you are talking about dog shots. You can get the combo shots in most farm store for around $4 as opposed to paying a vet fee. They come with the syringe. If you are talking rabies -- that varies by state. Some states you can buy them over the counter, some states you can't. If you have several dogs it still might be cheaper for you to order online and do those yourself.

I used to to order the rabies, but last time the shipping had increased enough that for just two dogs, it was tit for tat having my vet do it since he only charged $15 per dog -- that's it, no office fee charge or anything else on top of it. I used to order from Jeffers.

If you are talking about kid shots, please disregard everything I just said.laugh out loud

I gave in..... I admit it.... I ACTUALLY got on the scale (not as bad as I thought it would be, but still within 8 lbs of the highest I've ever been) and walked for 25 minutes today (where's the sweating, fanning smiley?) I have more to lose than most (if not all) of you or two or three of you combined weigh.

May have to do with 3 things.
1- guy that I've always admired Girly from the other building came to see me when I emailed him a travel claim question (he travels, I normally don't). We used to go to lunch or dinner occasionally, but it always seemed that I was the one asking, and I want him to ask once in awhile
2- You ladies are all supporting each other with posts
3- the worship service I watched this morning (which happens to be the church that the guy in #1 attends) had a sermon (was given last week) about marriage, and how you need to love yourself before anyone else can love you. I hate myself right now.

I don't guarantee anything. I'm tired of being tired, kwim?

Do you have any recommendations for where to get a good deal on Frontline (whatever kind the vet gives out for $20 a pop)? I never thought I'd have to look for dog deals Sadwalk

I don't use it so I don't know. Search Hot Deals I'm pretty sure there have been some posts in there about it. There is a rebate on their website [merial.com].

Actually, Jeffers [jefferspet.com] sells that too.

LMAO so my dog just jumped up on the couch and settled in beside me (yorkie). I reach over to give her a pet and feel something on her back that is kinda yucky, and I can't figure out what it is. Kinda feels like a worm and I went into a panic. I go get a towel and pull it out of her hair and it's a spaghetti noodle all twisted up in her fur LMAO Earlier when I was cooking pasta, I dropped a noodle and she was by my feet, but when I looked down I didn't see it so I thought she ate it.

I think it's time for me to go to bed Roll

Peoria is 3 hrs. from me...Arlington Heights and Springfield are like 4 hrs. I don't consider that 'near' LOL but it is closer than TX laugh out loud I think Rachel lives in IL though so maybe she lives closer to one of those cities????
I think Peoria is an hour 45 and Spfld is a little under 2 hrs. Arlington Hts is 3 1/2-4.

Yes. Once at T my DD was in the basket part and she stood up to move something so she could change her position. (When she stood up I was going really slow) Next thing I know some rude team member was yelling across the kids section for me to "make your kid sit" VERY embarrassing. I could understand if she had walked closer and asked me if my child could sit. But to yell it across the section and tell me to make her sit really pissed me off.
I hate it when people think they come jump in and parent my kids. It is MY job and they're my kids and I do my job very well, thank you. I am instantly hateful to those people (so Christian-like, I know) b/c I am so furious. Just b/c they think that touching a sign will get them "hurt" doesn't mean what they are implying which is, obviously: your mom doesn't watch you, so please don't touch that sign - it might spontaneously combust and you could burn your fingers. Roll Eyes (Sarcastic)

And it's nearly always people you know damn good and well don't have kids of their own (or haven't for 40 years)

All right you people with little kids. I'm gonna have my say! When you have your kid in a cart and it's standing up you know what I would like to go up to you say? Huh, do ya? Well, I'm gonna tell ya. THANK YOU. Thank you for confining your child to your cart. Thank you for keeping your kid out of my way. Thank you for not letting your kid run up and down the aisles where I am apt to whack them with my cart when they run in front it -- then it will be my fault, of course. Thank you.

Oh and as for the kiddies standing up. Get over it. Accidents happen nobody is gonna let their kid fall on purpose. I would assume that the parent is watching the evil standing child to see that they are just standing not leaning over to the point of danger.

Oh, and if your sitting kid wants to be a little higher so they can see out -- flip a carry basket over in the bottom of the cart and let them use it for a seat. Now, standing on that, yeah, a fall risk.

OMG GT, that reminds me....I was once standing in the aisle at T. looking at something on the shelf and I look up and this kid is just TEARING down the aisle, no attention to where he is going and runs smack into the front of my cart. And then the best part was is that whoever it was that was responsible for him didn't even notice that it happenedRoll Eyes (Sarcastic)

That's how I think, too - my kid is not lighting the toilet paper on fire in the bathroom or riding bikes up and down the aisle or screaming throughout the entire store (occasional fits go with the territory though) or throwing merchandise on the floor or harassing other customers. And just b/c some random person/worker thinks whatever my kid is doing is a punishable offense, I obviously didn't or I would've spoken with them already. Mad
