gt, that is awesome! It will be easier and easier to do it each time. Smilie

Not a good day for me. Don't really want to go into details but suffice to say I've spent most of my day sleeping to avoid the entire process. *sigh* I'm tired of living in my body.

Thanks everyone for the birthday wishes! It really means a lot that you all remembered/wished for me! Smilie

DH had to work ALL DAY so we didn't really get to celebrate but that's OK, it's only a birthday and the sign of getting older...not too much to celebrate IMO. But, DH surprised me with a babysitter and I used the time to get a mani/pedi and to go to an out of the way Target. Went in, shopped, bought myself a present and shouted STMFC all the way out the door. Roll

Have a good night everyone hug

Damn, I think I might hurt myself patting myself on the back. Ok, I do I have to admit that I don't feel good, my chest feels like there is a boulder perched on it, and I'm not sure I would have enough ambition to even walk over to the table and get a piece. But it doesn't matter. I DIDN'T EAT IT!!!!

I'd say you win. You can exercise several hours a day but if you consume huge amounts of calories you aren't gonna lose. Like the others, I agree that exercise aids in weigh loss tremendously and if you don't do some you are going to be flabby, but thin people can be flabby.

I agree.. Exercising while eating chocolate, chips, and soda won't do too much good, unless you are working out several hours a day.. But, I can attest to the fact that by changing eating habits you can lose weight without exercise. I didn't start exercising before until after I had lost about 40 pounds with just diet alone.
Of course, I think it is best to do them both at the same time. Lose weight and tone.. And it definitely helps you lose faster with working out and dieting.

Great job. I remember my family used to love this pizza buffet place and I hated to go. but when I did, I would eat a salad and pick the toppings off some pizza and eat that. The toppings can be pretty good!

Sounds like a wonderful birthday to me!

I had an okay day as far as eating.. Would have been better if I wouldn't have splurged and had some creamer. I was out of my SF creamer and had regular kind.. But it has so many carbs and sugars.. I was determined to try another kcup flavor. I tried the donut shop kind. It was pretty good, but still a little strong for me. I think I just need to get used to it. I used to drink a bold coffee made by starbucks, but have been drinking all my free maxwell house from target deals lately and it isn't near as strong.

I did go out and let my DD play on the swingset tonight. While she played, I walked around, marched, jogged, and turned on music and danced a little too. Worked up a nice sweat for about 25 minutes or soWink Dancing was a fun workout though. I actually enjoyed it!

My shopping cart horror story. When my DD was about 5 months old, I put her seat on the cart at walgreens and was doing some shopping. I had it hooked, or I thought.. Anyway, when I left the store, I had to roll the buggy over some of those little bumpy things at the entrance, and her entire seat fell off of the cart with her in it. I was horrified. She was screaming and I felt like a horrible mom. Thankfully her seat landed on it's side, so she was fine, other than being scared.. A lady came running from inside to check on her. It could have been so horrible if she had landed on her head or face on the cement from that height. I was so thankful and I NEVER took the seat in again unless it was attached to my stroller. One of the scariest things for me.

Thanks for the link. I will check it out. As far as the bay goes. I have ordered them many times there and they just send me the links instantly, and I print them.
EEK! That IS a horrible story hug Those little Wags cart baskets are probably to blame - that is scary as heck!!

The other thing about the e-centive K q's is that you can get them in pdf (all one doc)

Healthy Weight - It's not a diet, it's a lifestyle! [cdc.gov]

This was the handout from Week One I received.

I am not feeling good. But I am still caught up with TCC and I am happy about that.

Now off to bed. Morning comes too early.

Thanks everyone for the links of the coupons. I will check those stores in IL. I think Arlington is the closest too me. Is it? I live north of Milwaukee. But I love lunch in Racine. Mexican food there is soooo yummy.

Awwwww hug I'm sorry m2c!!! I wonder if the party yesterday just kind of through everything off - did you eat more later in the day than usual? I know you said you were really good yesterday...I usually try to keep my pattern of eating to what's 'normal' for me on the day before I weigh in 'cause sometimes that will throw your weight off for a day or soDontknow Maybe re-weigh-in tomorrow AM??
I was thinking about weighing in again tomorrow, but I'm not going to. I just wrote down the weight and I'm going to continue to do good. Today was kind of a disaster, but I still made mostly good choices. I just didn't write anything down.

I will use the moby wrap next time I go shopping. I don't like carrying the car seat thing - my arms ache and feel like they are going to fall off. Plus, it feels so weird to be so far away from baby.

I think my toddler is now over 35 lbs, so I guess she shouldn't be sitting in the cart front either. I sincerely dislike those elephant carts - when the belts aren't broken, they are still way to easy to get out of. I think I will have to do some extra training with DD and get her to behave and obey better. I do NOT want her to be one of those kids that are running up and down the aisles and creating havoc.
My sister showed me a GREAT tip for when you need to get a toddler INTO the cart WHILE you're wearing a baby. You can reach into the cart and lift up the panel that hangs down and then they can climb in. That way you don't have to try to lift them while you're wearing the baby. Every time I do it at the store there is always a mom who sees me and just stares and then comes over and is like "you're a genius" - I always laugh and tell them that my sister showed it to me. The first time I showed it to DS I told him it was his super secret big boy way to get into the cart and he loved it.

And for those of you who like to hear poop talking I am teaching ds how to wipe his own butt, he is lazy and rather yell he's done and have mom or dad wipe his butt. He's 4 soon to be five! So its time for him to do it on his own!!!

...
At leasts he asks you to wipe. Mine is almost 7 and I swear he never wipes unless I send him back in a second time. There is no way at his age I'm going to wipe for him but he just doesn't seem to think it is important enough to do period. YUCK!

Happybday

Busy Time for B-Days at least in my family. Out of 7 out of 10 of us (My, my sis' & my mom's households) all have B-Days within 2 weeks of each other starting on the 25th which is my sis'. Mine is the 28th and is even the same day as one of my nephews (and my ex fiance but that is another story).

My son keeps telling my DH that for my birthday that we will all have to go to T as a family to Q shop. DH HATES Q's so it would be a shock if it actually happens. But DS keeps saying we all get to do what the birthday guy/girl wants and he knows me all too well.
