ETA: ?? for those of you that use the $5 Kohls q's from e-junkie, etc. Got some today and noticed the 'one per household' wording at the bottom...do any of you have trouble with that and how do you go about not having trouble with it?
I skimmed the last few pages and hope everyone feels better that is sick and gets their work problems situated. What am I missing at TRU? Also, did I miss a coupon or 2 for Tinkerbell?
tinkerbell... there's a 10mq (printable) and a 5tq... the latter was sent in fliers, but then someone did "the forbidden" and then posted that in an HD thread. linked back to deals. which got deals post removed and hd thread gone. but once things are on the net...

I would get a notebook and write down everything. Times, dates and what was said.
and the notebook idea, cherry, is not only a great one but a very important one. if you end up having to see a lawyer/union rep or any such thing, right at the outset you will be asked for a timeline of events, with details - who did you talk to, what was said, how did that conversation occur (phone, email, in person), who else was in the room, who did notify of the conversation afterwards etc.
this is central to your side of the situation.
So DS#2 is still drinking from a bottle as he is a total klutz when it comes to a cup and recently my other son has started requesting a bottle. He has been off the bottle since he was 15 months but he has been adamantly demanding one lately. Anyone else experience this?
then they said, and if grownups keep drinking from baby bottles it makes their teeth all wonky and their smiles ugly (the dentist had told them that). did we want that? noooooo we said sadly.
but they said in order to have the grownup mugs we had to first throw our bottles ourselves and say "i'm a big girl now, i don't drink from baby bottles" (we only got to toss one bottle each
sure enough, after a few moments of hesitation, the bottles went into the can and smashed. we liked the sound of it. it was empowering.
then that very day they took us to a store and got us to pick out our own mugs as promised. i still remember one of the mugs had shades of pink stripes, from light to dark, with the love is pair on it... it said love is... on top, and i can't remember what it was that the two did.
Cherry, Sorry for everything you are going through at work. Employers never seem to learn that their Employees are their most valued asset and should be treated as such.
Still before going full steam into the meeting you might double check that your company does qualify to be governed by FMLA. You mentioned you work for a small company and few people realize that FMLA only applies to companies that employ 50+ people within a 75 mile radius.
I haven't had a position in over 20 years where the company had more than 10 employees much less 50. When I was pregnant I was at a company with 3 employees including myself. The doctor had diagnosed me with pre-eclampsia over a month before my due date. There was just no way I could be off that long so I had to work (argue) with the doc to come to some compromise that would allow me to work until approx 2 weeks before the due date. Then I went back to work 1/2 days just 3 days after my C-Section. All so I could make sure they didn't hire someone to replace me and so the only time I took off was covered by the vacation time I had built up.
Don't get me wrong. I am no super hero nor do I think what I did was the right thing to do, I just did what I had to. And I by no means do I think that your situation is right. The company should not treat you the way they are. Just make sure that the law is on your side first.
Oh, and if by chance you don't have more than 50 employees you still may be covered by similar state laws. These laws vary by state to state but can apply to company sizes as small as 10 employees.
This website is amazing as it has several really good recipes, outlines what you can and can't eat, etc...

I have got to do something constructive today. I suppose I should go out and shut down the pool for winter. I just hate to do that. It's cold and I am not keeping it chlorinated -- the season IS over. It's not nasty or anything so it still looks good. It's just so dang ugly with the winter cover on it.
I have the low carb rolls in the oven ( 1/2 carb or less each). Eggs are boiled and sitting out there finishing up. Brunch today is 2 sausage patties (0 carbs) and a piece of cheese (1 carb).
Boy, talk about taunting yourself. Most recipes I have in my book, a few are on my computer -- the diet rolls are one of them. So, I open that file to get the recipe. Ya know what the other 2 recipes are? Peanut Butter Cake (OMG it's
I would guess I read it in the Walgreen forum. It's the only drugstore I ever (rarely) have access to.
