Do you have Rite Aid? I'm trying to do a deal there in a couple of weeks. I'm gearing up for it. I'm looking for an elusive TP for them that one our local supermarkets has and I'm praying for a Viva insert between now and the sale date. Let me know if you have RA and I'll be happy to share the deal. It won't be free but I'm willing to 30 to 40 cents a roll for my favorite paper towels.
Okay, next question - - does your grocery store double coupons? I can usually get them fairly inexpensive at my 'expensive' grocery store when I order the lower denomination MQs and get them to double and they are on sale. I did a deal not too long ago for around 100 rolls and I don't think I paid more than 29 cents per roll. Again, not free but I am brand loyal for this one.
I really need to have a good supply of these on-hand. My mom probably goes through a roll a day when she visits - - if I don't have them she has no problem paying full price them and putting them on my credit card!! - - God luv her! I pick my battles carefully... so I just make sure she has plenty in the basement when she visits. I'm finding our teachers luv them to for their classrooms too - - especially the selct-a-size and I'm frequently requested to donate them.
So glad to find another lover of the VIVA!

Loving the new avatar!! *COOKIES*
I wish they had him by himself for bday theme. Love him to pieces!
Just got back from doing the one mile walk with the dogs. I really don't like taking my daughter's dog with me but I just can't leave her here... not with that look on her face.
She walks pretty nicely, but she will take every inch of lease you give her. And, you know how male dogs like to stop and mark along the way? Well, her version of this is pooping. So, I have to pay attention that I keep her head up so she doesn't sniff and poop.
In the meantime, my dog does really well healing, but like most wants to move just a little ahead of where I want her. So, I am snapping her collar occasionally to get her back in place while the rest of the time I am telling her what a good heal she is doing. Meanwhile, it looks like I am trying to hang the pooper. Oh well, I also consider this a workout for my arms.
Edit: Oh my, it just occurred to me... my son is attempting to enlist in the military. We have told him that, of course, we will take his dog. So, my 65 lb. GSD, my daughter's 35 - 40 Golden Husky mix, and his 8 lb. Chihuahua. How in the hell am I gonna do that? Maybe I will get a backpack for Heidi and put Coco in it.
Poor little thing. Son wanted a dog but he lived in rented room/house share situation at the time and works. So, small, older dog is ideal. Checks out the rescues -- finds Coco. She was an 8 year old puppy mill rescue. Sweet, lovable, calm. Spayed, shots, etc. -- paperwork and vet receipts provided. He bought her. About a year later he had her outside when she a male dog next dog, uummm, have a little romance. Ok, that is not right -- a spayed female won't usually allow that. Fast forward a couple month to his spayed dog giving birth to a dead puppy. I felt so sorry for them both. It was a botched spay job, obviously. They offered to redo it at no cost, but due to other health concerns, it's not really safe. She has never had a visible heat, so it isn't happening but she sure as heck won't be near another male.... EVER.
I had a dream last night about Kohl's. I think this is the first dream in years that I've remembered...it was very uneventful
People can be SO nasty! When i try anything on I stand on my shoes and I dont touch anything! lol
Quick trip to T today. I got a really cute baby girl outfit ($1.50 ) for a baby I'm not even pregnant with

naughty, naughty on the Viva, girlie. seriously, you and I have such similar shopping tastes for food etc but on this count, how do you not find them smelly? i really want to learn the art of enjoying them but so far, I'm a bounty gal. although i've taught myself recently to use up bounty basic and the walgreens brand "tuf" -- they're just thin and you go through em fast. but for bathroom cleaning or mopping up said chicken soup, i don't care. i like using the good bounty for other stuff.
......they both admit they wore out their welcome at the company. made for an unhappy ending.
i just don't want the same for you. best to learn from other peoples mistakes, not your own
cherry, i totally agree with slowtech. ( i usually do.
you are right - starting up a job search in a draggy economy, when you've just returned from maternity leave, with little kiddos to attend to at home and a full plate of work at work, is just a drag extraordinaire. i couldn't agree more and totally sympathize. and if i were in your spot i would likely procrastinate and drag my heels on it.
BUT, i'll go back to agreeing with slowtech here
so it's in your best interest to be very proactive about finding another job ASAP and move out as fast as you can. they're already treating you poorly - cutting your pay, transferring you, accusing you. in other words, it's not a good situation, and you don't want to give them chances to build on that ugly foundation they're creating.
good luck and i pray things work out in your favor all the way around!
Mavis has been very cranky for a while & had lots of gas. ....
I sooo need to get out and get some gripe water (and produce and coffee!!).
...
i was going to say try gripe water but you're way ahead of me.
I don't remember all my dreams but the worst are when I'm stressed out about something at work or home then dream about it all night. For example one time we were doing inventory at work and I dreamed I was counting things all night long just to wake up to have to count them again, this time for real. I swear I felt like I had worked double shifts once sleeping and once awake.
...
dreams... ever heard of lucid dreaming? it's when you are aware that you are dreaming while in the dream and thus can control what happens in the dream. there's a whole field of study around it and books on how to train yourself to lucid dream. it's actually a very powerful tool that psychologists sometimes use to help people overcome trauma, fear, abuse, self-esteem issues etc.
so which life is better?
and do you score great bargains in your dream life?
hey people, speaking of great bargains, i was going through a stack of mail, and buried amongst the unopened envelopes guess what i found? a postcard from jcpenney that says $10 our gift to you - it's a $10 off a $10 purchase or more in store, online and catalog
there's a barcode to scan in store, but then a promocode for online. wonder if it works just with promo code online so one could multi use? don't know...
