Speaking of these feet owies... This is nothing in comparison to what you guys have going on, but anybody have anything like this? When I first get up in the morning it hurts to walk. The pain is kind of like poking a sore bruise. They aren't asleep or anything like that and it's not like sore feet from high heels. Once I walk around a little bit it quits. But sometimes it's quite severe. It also happens sometimes if I sit for a really long time without getting up.

That sounds a lot like what I was talking about. Between the stairs (which initially made it hurt worse, going downstairs in the morning I felt like the 90 yr old ank described) and better arch/heel support it has mostly gone for me. Maybe try shoes that are more supportive or cushioned to see if it helps?

It lasted for years, pain only went away during pregnancy. Came back within 6 months of giving birth. Youngest is 3 and hasn't *knock on wood* returned yet. We did move from a ranch style house to a 2 story with laundry room in the basement (and you can bet with 4 kids, I'm running up and down stairs endlessly!) so maybe it strengthened those bounceligaments? Sure didn't do much for the chubby butt. Embarrassment laugh out loud

I have steps always have had, I don't think that did it but as long as it healed yaeh you !

Sadwalk DH just got home. We aren't getting the piano afterall. He heard about another family in the church that was looking for a piano, so he took it over to them. They were pretty happy. He's a good guy.

He brought me cupcakes too.

Tell me about it... there've been days I hobble around like a 90 year old. I was actually told that I had feet like an old lady when I was 11 by a foot doctor. And on my baby foot prints, you can see my bunions - especially in the right foot.

DH and I are considering seeing about the surgery and getting that done this year. I'd be laid up for a while, but if it means I can actually walk around without pain - that would be pretty awesome. Though, by now I've lived with it so long, it would be weird. But, on the upside - maybe I could actually catch up to my toddler again. laugh out loud

Setsail - I'm hoping my store still has the 4 wooden cabinets that've been sitting there forever now. I want to hang one in DD's room & our room - and probably will end up getting one for the bathroom too.

I'm sorry, I know you were looking forward to the piano , but cupcakes is good
We do need to be gracious, we're talking about church. LOL

Wow ,when you were a bebe , so it oi partly genetic ...hmmmm

BTW do you guys have Target's open this late ?

GT - Sounds a lot like the fascitis pain. Sometimes what helps me is to stand on the bottom step, balancing on the ball of my feet. Then lift up and hold for a few seconds, then lower down - bring your heels below the step - and hold that for a few seconds. Repeat a few times, and it will usually help to stretch out the muscles and make it feel a bit better. Ibuprophen before bed can help too, but that's not typically something you want to do often. Is there something you are doing during the day that may be aggravating it? Wearing heals, unsupportive shoes, really active or standing on your feet?

I can't wear heels - it's nearly impossible for me to walk for hours the next day because of the pain. (that, and with the bunions, some shoes just don't fit/feel comfy!) So that's a definite trigger for me.

Oh - I also noticed that i have to be careful in the way I step or walk - especially when getting off of stairs. Mornings are definitely one of the worst times - probably because while you are sleeping they get a chance to be all aggravated and stuff.

You could try rubbing your feet a bit before getting out of bed in the mornings - that may help a little bit too.

Yeah... I was a little disappointed - especially since it's the 2nd piano this year that we've passed up, but I'm happy for the other family. I know they are going to love it.

THat's heel spurs I have that , exactly what you're talking about, that's why I got the heel orthotics from the podiatrist, they actuaaly make a mold of your feet ,and make the orthotic from that. I think it feels like a pebble in my heel.

good evening peeples. I had the oddest thing happen tonight at target. My total was 148 and I paid with EBT for 104. It should have then made my total 44 but it jumped to 252. WTF

My heart stopped for a second when he was telling me the story.

I always let my son use toupons when I have some for him. I think it was 2 summers ago when we there was that free chocolate friday promo we would stop on our way to the free summer movie and he would get to use a coupon for some free M&Ms. I love that he knows that there is value in toupons and mommy isn't a crazy psycho who just buys loof dog food, when we don't have a dog.

Tomorrow I'm going to attempt to get to T for the 4th time this week. Hopefully I will not be derailed by vomit. Whee
Good luck!! I hope you can get into Target tomorrow!! I think it's awesome you are teaching your son the value of coupons.. my kids think I am half nuts and half smart LOL HUGS!!

Quote from love2beeamom :
I don't go to the target wiki often at all, but when I have seen that post, I have had the same thought. Seems like everytime folks from deals pop over here we end up with drama and mod visits.

Maybe try another day/cashier. I used mine no probs yesterday
I agree many times when deal people come over.. they freak up our flow over here and cause unneeded chaos... anyways.. I guess I will try again tomorrow maybe evening.. who knows...

Dr Report- She thinks it's a torn plantars fascia dligament. She wanted to put me in a boot, but calves are too big, so big strap on shoe for 2 weeks, stay off of it as much as possible, try to transition back to regular shoe after 2 weeks. Come back and see her in 1 month.
Awww hope it feels better soon!! Please try to stay out your foot as much as possible.. ouch.. sending better vibes to you!! HUGS!!

I went to the Mayo website to check it out. It sort of sounds like that except I don't have heel pain. It's more the whole bottom of my feet -- both of them. I get up, walk to the bathroom, brush teeth, walk to kitchen to make coffee. Usually by the time I am making coffee it stops hurting.

No high heels but I also don't wear shoes most of the time. I have a lovely collection of fuzzy footies... and C9 socks. It doesn't seem to matter if I sit on my hiney or walk on hard floors with cheap flip flops or good tennis shoes all day. In the morning for 3 or 4 minutes they hurt then it quits.

So, it added it instead of subtracting it. Cashier error in the way she entered it? Did they get it corrected?

AGHHHH Today has NOT been my day.

After 3 days of sun and breeze and feeling like fall, it poured like crazy today. Had to practically wade through a gigantic puddle in the supermarket parking lot.

A close friend graduated school in August and landed a job today. I have been looking for over 9 months and still haven't found anything. Makes me look and feel horrible.

After stalking my crush on Twitter and Facebook for the last two months, he finally made that all private today. Sadwalk Are they SUREEEE that there is no way to know who is looking at their tweets and profiles? Hide Seems a tinyyyy bit suspicious that he did that only after I started (invisibly) following him.

Finally got on the weight loss train and started my no carb diet this week only to crash it today, eating rice for dinner and having chocolate while watching The Office and Bones. Probably the only highlight of my day. :/

hug hug HUGS all around to everyone who needs 'em! I know I do.
