Mmmm, I did the stuff jalapenos for supper tonight. Oh, man, were they good. Between the 3 of us, they are GONE!
I did ok cleaning them. First I put a microfiber cloth, doubled, over my mouth and nose and then put a face mask (like for sanding) over that. I filled the sink with warm water with a bowl submersed and a plate handy for a lid so they didn't float out into the scraps. I got the peppers out the fridge and put them directly in the water -- bag and all. I cleaned them totally underwater, even putting it in the bowl without coming up. Ran the garbage disposal, let the water run for a long time. Left the room and then removed the mask. Had the exhaust fan running.
Oh, almost forget. Yes, I stayed within my carb limit.
They don't have much on display for KCups. I have had to ask for them to get me some the last 2 trips. The last Donut Shop they brought out expire 10/24. I had rather have a little fresher product.
Got Mr. Clean and Tide tonight at Target. No problem with coupons. Found a Full/Queen Thomas OBrien Comforter Set for 75% off, DCPI 060010105, $24.98.
So then it was 10% off of that, then minus $10 off $10 and $5 off q's and 15% F&F q + tax my total was $8.xx. I have wanted one FOREVER! So I was willing to pay that

I'm trying to order a German calendar for my dad. They seem hard to find online.

There is a supermarket (local chain) that is a few blocks from my house that, on a weekly basis, has some really great deals. In the ad this week, they have 24 pack Coke for $3.99!! AND there is a coupon for $1 off. I don't drink soda but my aunt and uncle have a restaurant, and they are always in need of stuff like this. I go with my sister this afternoon, and we each pick up two packs, pay in separate lanes, and leave.
As we are wheeling our carts out, the manager steps out from the customer service booth and tells us that there is a limit of two packs on the soda. That's fine, we each bought two. Then he proceeds to tell us that we need to buy $10 more of stuff in order to get the additional two packs. What? C'mon, I am too familiar with the per person/per purchase/per transaction game. Two people - two packs each - what is the problem? He tells us that they are losing money on these deals and that he sees people come in and just buy the specials and leave.
Ugh, S&Gers. I'm sorry, but if you know that is going to happen, don't have these doorbuster deals! And don't blame me for not following your "limit" rule when I don't have a cart full of Coke.
The sex would be the no-go for me.
Had a decent run tonight. For those of you with a Publix, there are 2 b1g1 McCormick Qs (size 14) in the yellow advantage flyer that are kind of fun to use at your local ST.

Had a good run at kohls' myself today, after a few uh minor glitches.
I thought my september 30 code was still good...NO , but got the fifteen %friends and family card from the girl at the register ,good alll weekend.
meeshhe ...the $$/xamt and the $5.00 off are definatelty stackable, confirmed after they read it. However only 1 of each .,rats...lol.The ten/20 Q you have to have $20.00 not 19.99 it has to be eat least $20 or the register won't take the q
Found the jumping bean line of infant, and toddlers girs and boys co-ordinates for 4.99 (50% off )plus additional 10% off . Found carters infant sleepers for 9.00 were normally $20
Cashiers were scarce ,only two at each door
Had to hit two stores due to lack of cashiers. No problems first store .
Second store I knew was gonna be tough . , as i'm walking in the door I hear a customer ask if there were any q's out and the cashier told her no. She had a stack, as all the registers do ,of the friends and family 15%,but i couldn't help her
cause she was already in line. Only 1 cashier at this side of store,wasn't going to her. Tapped Cs and 2 other cashiers at the other dept. All of then looked shocked to see my q's but put them thru a little unhappily.
I haven't been to kohl's in a little while I usually do 1 big shop a season when I 'm mailed a good discount, the they have NEVER been like this , they are usually really great and accomodating. IDK maybe every body is just miserable these days , no youngsters ,all middle aged woman.

Anyhoo if you need a good filler look for socks, in infants on the top shelf of the jumping beans stuff..
