I like ham, mine is always requested, that makes me feel specialStick Out Tongue, My turkey is ok, but still havent masterd that, sometimes its perfect, sometimes its dry. Im the same way alway cooking a twenty pound bird or bigger since we have a army to feedLMAO
$2.00 coupon... I know cuz I just cut it out about 2 hours ago... laugh out loud

And even if you don't have an army to feed - who can resist turkey leftovers?? And I don't like stuffing baked in a dish - so you have to have enough room for the bulk of it to go into the bird.

Darn. Now I'm hungry.

Trying to decide whether to buy the pdf or link version. Link is cheaper and I don't mind clicking the links. But if the pdf were several to a page and hit print and there ya have all 20 then I would do that. I just don't want to print a bunch of stupid ads.
There are no ads on the Kohls coupons. I just cut my paper in half and printed them that way. I lost a little of the "small print", but haven't had any problems redeeming them.

This a really off the wall question but are perms still in style? I am thinking of changing up my hair, right now it is just long and straight and BORING. I used to perm my hair and am thinking about doing it again. I am thinking a sprial or bodywave, not a poodle curl.LMAO I love Nicole Kidman's hair when she kinda has a loose wave. I just want an easy style, low maintenance style. Anyone have any ideas?
A lot of my friends get perms to help their hair hold a curl. Meaning they use a large barrel curling iron to calm the tight curl of the perm down. Helps esp if you have ultra straight hair. Make sure to ask for the largest rollers that they have. And if your hair is long, have them piggy back the rollers (use 2 rollers per strand).

Went to a target tonight and Inspector Faggot aka AP walked up to the register to inspect my coupons. Apparently he missed the memo on what purchase vs transaction means so I will now make it a point to inform him correctly.

Which brings me to my next question..

Why is all of Target AP fat? Seriously. Is that why they got mopeds?
MOPEDS ???EHHH?
He/she must have also missed the memo that .being q cop is not part of their job description , seriously last I heard corporate frowned on that , at least that 's the corporate "line"

Maybe Dreeme can enlighten us on this one in a short whilebulb

Now you guys have got me craving turkey... and of course, with that I think of dressing, and mashed potatoes, which are not diet friendly, so lets not talk about itStick Out Tongue

I went to Kohls today.. Decided to take someone's advice and try checking out at CS for one of the transactions. Lady looked at me like I had 3 heads.. yeah, I won't be doing that again.
The sales this week weren't as good as last week for me. The toddler clothes that were 5.49 for me last week, were 6.99 this time. And all of the cute picture frames I was going to go back and get for Christmas gifts were much cheaper last week too. I did manage to get a really cute semi formal dress for my DD to wear to the homecoming dance. It is pink and black. Got it for 13.00 which was 70% off.. minus the 5.00 coupon..
Other than that, I got some fall kitchen towels for 5.99, and my toddler a few shirts from the clearance rack.

Didn't make it to target, but hoping for tomorrow!

I can help ya with that. Use a Reynold's Oven Bag [reynoldsovenbags.com] bag, it will be perfect every time. Nice and moist. And when it's done you will have a whole bag full of drippings for gravy. Easiest way is to hold the whole bag, turkey and all, up over a big pan and poke a hole in the bottom of the bag and let the juice squirt out.

I'm not wild about it either and really don't like turkey. Actually, I don't like any poultry.

For those of you who don't venture out of the T deals, wave Kmart has birthday bucks coupons - $5 off any toy (excluding clearance, etc). You can use 1 per transaction, but I've done back to back transactions without any problems.

Enjoy!!

8/1/10 - 9/30/10 [kmart.com]

9/1/10 - 10/31/10 [kmart.com]

Weekend went by way too fast. Spent Sat morn in Urgent Care, now have to take DS to the orthopedist on Wed, they think he has torn his miniscus. Have insurance, but the deductable is $2400. Oof.

Good news is, Urgent Care was across the parking lot from Kohl's! Can't wait for the next 15% coupon to come out!
ouch! sorry!

now do you have an ice cream maker at home? if not, look on ebay... i got a brand new one for 15 bucks a couple of years ago. you don't need one but it is faster with one.

but at any rate, if you take skim milk and some fat free half and half, or alternatively just use fat free plain yogurt, then blend with some vanilla essence, and run through the ice cream maker, you can have delicious, filling, fat free and super healthy for you homemade icecream/frozen yogurt. or you can take the milk-hh/ff yogurt and in a blender add some chopped fruit (like raspberries, strawberries, mangoes, bananas, honeydew melon - whichever one you like). blend till completely smooth, then run through ice cream maker. the latter can even be frozen without an ice cream maker, just by putting into cups or ice trays and putting in fridge. my mum used to make us mango ice cream, strawberry ice cream, banana ice cream, pistachio ice cream that way when we were kids. worked like a charm and was yummy!
ooh! i got 2 90% off ice cream makers from summer mini seasonal. the big one and the small one. (really wanted the shaved ice but didn't want to drive 2hrs round trip.) i could keep always keep the small one instead of giving it away.

Went back and got the Dehumidifier. They had marked it down to 70% off. Smilie

Also got 4 - $9.99 bags of Mars Halloween Candy and 8 single Snickers Candy Bars. Good deal. Got back 2 - $5 GC.

Thanks all....
so lucky! they were 50% off so i was waiting to see if they would go lower. saturday nite they and the biggest loser scales at 50% off had all disappeared! agh!

my red plum was missing so no choco eitherMad.

It's par for the night. DD got sick on the way to swim class, had to pull over several time because she was throwing up. Her head was hurting, which happens when she doesn't eat every few hours, which causes vomit By the time we got to swim class (which is in another town, about 20 mins with traffic), she was feeling better, but when we walked in, swim class was canceled due to the storms we're having here. It's an indoor pool, but it's "grounded" (that's what they said), I think they meant in-ground, so it was too dangerous for swimming. But, we get to drive back again tomorrow for class instead Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) Doesn't bother me too much, though I am tired of being in the truck. The parents behind me were PISSED and making a big scene though.
so they'd rather take the chance that their kids get electrocuted than have to come back tomorrow.Confused at my rec ctr the rules are very clear for the outdoor pool. if there is thunder, everybody out of the pool, even if the sun is shining.

i tried this recipe 2 yrs ago on a free supermarket turkey. it was awesome! even more so b/c it was my first time cooking a turkey and i definitely overcooked it. the thermometer just kept going up and up at one point! the whole house smelled of turkey when it was cooking. it looked really impressive. that was probably the butter! i took it over to a friend's house who was hosting a baby shower and people were raving. one girl claimed all the leftovers for her kids. i was lucky to even get the carcass to make soup. which came out amazing. really flavorful.
