You can. I haven't done one in years. Keep the heat in the grill low. I can't tell you an exact temp cuz I didn't use a thermometer but based on how we do ribs that cook for hours I would say around 250 degrees. Keep a pan of water in the grill. Those cheap disposable aluminum pans work nicely. If you want wood chips for flavor put them in the water. We don't like wood chips, so we don't. Cook that sucker for a few hours. Don't keep opening the grill and peaking. When you do that you let the steam out. Every 45 minutes of so baste it with butter. Just like in the oven, when the thingy pops, it's done.

Does anyone know where I can find some kind of child lock for the ice & water dispencer on my fridge? My kids won't quit making huge messes with it.
Cut a couple styrofoam blocks to slip up behind the thingys. Hmm, I guess I am assuming it has the levers that you push back.

That's nice. I voted. Good luck.

Ok, yesterday at Target:

3 Huggies Wipes
3 Glade Carpet Sprinkle
1 Finish Dishwasher Kit thiny
2 MP Chicken Patties (bags)
2 Lettuce
1 Kraft Mayo ($2.99 EEK!)
2 French Bread (bakery)
2 Golden Plump Boneless Skinless Chicken Breasts 1 lb. package
2 Sour Cream 16 oz.
3 Suave Shampoo
1 Set stainless steal measuring cups ($2.09 clearance)
2 UP & Up Panty Liners
1 Etagere -- around the toilet, white metal
1 Grooming Bar - wall mount

Total $8.98 - there is no tax on this order. The only I can figure is that my overage put my taxable total at $0. There is no tax on food in Iowa.

3 Huggies Wipes
2 Glade Carpet Sprinkle
1 Finish
3 Suave
1 Up & Up Ibuprofen $2.39 - $0.50
2 Grooming Bars (floor to ceiling tension mount)
2 Up & Up Panty Liners

Total $1.07 -- $0.49 of that is sales tax.

My young man cashier was just a sweetie. He thought my final amount due was really cool. I seriously had no idea it would be that low. I don't normally cut it that low -- when I go I am also buying meat, etc.
When he had to K1 something -- it was saying item not found and I had it -- he made a comment about if people are going to take the time to cut these out, I'm going to make sure they go through.

I also just noticed I was charged $1.99 for the carpet sprinkle. I thought it was on sale for $1.66 but maybe that was the regular not the Tough Odor. I would have bought it anyway, so I don't care.

Re: the Up & Up Ibuprofen - if you are buying it, it is cheaper to buy 1 box of 100 rather than 4 boxes of 24.
$2.39 - 0.50 = $1.89 for vs ($0.99 x 4) - ($.50 x 4) = $1.96 for 96

Kohls
Had 20 Kohl's coupons, my daughter used 2 - necklace, shirt. I used 0. It was still obviously worth the $0.95.

Walgreens - Did the deals, spent $18. Got a 3 piece long stemmed candle holder set ($2) for the table. Got some spiced cider votives at Wal-Mart for a quarter each. Oooo, they smell good. Our new table is in the living room -- pub height, love it.
Just redid the living room and they had 3 colors of throws that matched. Not the nicest throws in the world, but they are fine, fold small, and match... and they were $1.99 paid for with RR. Now if I could just find lamps that I like...

Dieters, SLOWTECH -- listen up -- We went to Applebees where cheating seriously crossed my mind. (Get your mind out of the gutter, it didn't involve a man, it involved food). But then I heard all these internet voices.... So, I ordered the Applebee's steak. Subbed a salad instead of potatoes, dressing on the side, barely used any. Couldn't even tell I had touched the little cup.

Ok SLOWTECH are you listening?? I ate the damned steamed broccoli (3 or 4 pieces). I ate a couple pieces of that nasty ass zucchini. I wasn't sure about the carbs in zucchini, so I didn't want too much -- that and it's GROSS. I ignored the carrots -- too many carbs and they are as bad as zucchini.vomit

Are these for the Eat, Love Pray or Salt? If so, they work like KK except that big online retailer does not like them anymore shake head
Someone told me that their redeemed ones at the other peelie friendly site were cancelled when she tried to use them. Anyone else experience this?

Today I used an 01 coupon for an item over $5. I warned the cashier it would need a manager authorization and she said "oh no, I just have to pick the right item", hit K1, selected the item (Febreze) and $6.24 came off, no authorization needed.

Is it possible they reset the authorization limit back to $9.99 or did she have some sort of mgr authorization? I've never seen this cashier before.

Edit: a friend just confirmed that she used the same coupon with no supervisor authorization needed...so I'm thinking the limit was raised! woot
Edit2: Another friend said she did need authorization on Sunday...maybe it's a per store limit?? Dontknow

No. probably not. There is an online deal posted @ WalMart though. Order online. Search Hot Deals there are some posted over there.

We ordered one for a 46" and it was $25.12 shipped from Monoprice. It tilts, no swivel. Very happy with it, good reviews here and on their site.

Is there a way to check them or do you just have to try and buy a ticket or show up a theater? I have never personally used them; we don't get to the movies that often and I usually give them away or trade...don't want to do that if they're canceled shake head

I haven't used an 01 at my stores in a LONG time! I hope that they removed that update. Maybe their registers/programmers can only handle so many commands at once before they self-destruct. Coverlaugh

What do you guys think of moving to Alaska? We really want to move out of state asap! To either washington, oregon, california or possibly texas, or maybe ALASKA!
Were so over vegas.
Are you fleeing the jurisdiction? LMAO

Ok, I saw Washington, Oregon, California, and maybe Texas -- so I thought maybe you wanted to stay in a tight geographic - west coast area -- then ya threw Alaska out there. Yes, it's about as far west coast as you can get but ..... So, you aren't limiting to a XX mile radius of somewhere. So, why those places? Whaddaya have against Iowa? Huh? Huh? That's ok, Thismom4deals and I didn't wanna share our deals anyway.laugh out loud Of course, she's a little piglet with 2 Targets right in town, another one 20 minutes or so away and another if she drives an hour or so. I have to drive an hour for one.

Must have, even looks like most of the posts saying we voted has disappeared. Must be against some rule we've all forgotten. Oh well lesson learned.

yep. there is a rule against links to self-promoting sites. I am guessing that's what happened. I did that once before and I actually got warning points added to my account look around

Back from the Orthopaedist, they drained a LOT of blood from behind his knee cap, but feels better now. He has definitely torn his ACL, and won't be sure about the miniscus until after the MRI.
I don't think they take coupons. Sadwalk

Yes, it was removed....and I am gonna be red forever. Anybody who wants the info. PM me. I am kinda confused as to why they care if we want to help each other with something like that, it's just friends helping friends - especially when it's just in a chat thread Dontknow but I suppose they have to draw a line somehwere or it'd be outta control. *sigh* back to the drawing board on creative ways to get votes Please

Sadwalk

It's a good thing I am saving all those Snickers bars for a snickers cheesecake for Friday night to take to a friend's house, otherwise I might just go drown my sorrows and ruin my diet LMAO Crying

If it was school or even (clubs) team sports realted they usually have insurance that will work in conjunction with yours.

I'll have to find out, it was right before the varsity football game. We have insurance, but the deductible will wipe out our HSA account for the year.

Definately check into it , I don't remember which insurarce took precedance ,
then the other one picked up what was left. Most parents forget about the team, school insurance.

Yeah it was varsity for her also , as they get older the kids get bigger (hits get harder), injuries are worse .Embarrassment

Thanks for the happy birthday wishes for my DD. And yeah - there's no such thing as terrible 2's... it's "egads-this-child-sprouted-some-major-horns-which-occasionally-hold-up-a-halo".

I'm am soooo tired today!! I still haven't gotten back to normal, but baby is starting to sleep in 3-4 hour chunks at night. Whee She had a check up today - 11 lbs 7 oz and 22 1/2 inches. She's in the 95-97th percentile (if that means anything...)

mlj - I've heard Tennessee is a great place to live... Big Grin

gt6 - I heart zucchini!!! It's so yummy if you grill or sauteee it - especially with some onions and mushrooms!!
