I've been buying the Master Chef from Wal-Mart lately. It's $4.24 (or about that) for the big can of regular. So far it's been alright. I have had some cheap coffee that I thought tasted like dirt. This doesn't.

Aldi's Beaumont coffee used to be really good and was cheaper than most. I meant to stop last time I was near one and forgot.

I've done some photo gifts....I am more of a 'print-it-and-put-it-in-a-nice-frame-cheap-from-Kohls' sort of gal Of course if a good deal comes along I've made something occasionally. For 4x6's I usually just wait until something comes along....last time it was 200 prints from Pampers GTG + another deal came along from SF for 50 free prints or something so I got a bunch printed. Otherwise I order most other sizes from a professional lab because the coloring of the photos is much better IMHO and sometimes their prices are cheaper than SF or the like anyway. I shoot occasional sessions for friends and my brother orders a lot so I can just tack my orders on with those. Shipping is super cheap too --- shipping kills me on SF Do they ever have decent deals on shipping costs???

Three others from IA besides me and tm4d. Who knew? How about Arts Cow. I have ordered several things from them and been please. Lots of cheap deals -- including shipping. I LOVE the photo books. I think if I had babies I would be doing a whole lot of those.

I have considered pulling out my kids baby pictures, scanning, and making books for them. Maybe do a Babies First Year then a couple more for older pictures. It's all that damn scanning that stops me. And, then, I also wonder what the photo quality would be.

My daughter's Senior Pictures are done in photo book. I love it. Then we had a couple more printed with fewer pages for the grandparents. My mom was thoroughly impressed.
Most of the Arts Cow deals are free shipping. There is one now for three cosmetic bags - any size - for $8 shipped. I thought they would be really cute done for kids and personalized for crayons, markers, etc. You could even scan a picture they colored and have it put on them.

The dog tags are pretty cool for actual tags for your dog -- they have a bone shaped one. We did the normal "Army" shaped kind with a picture of the Duster and info on it for a keychain. Those are $1.99 shipped. Oh yeah, I did a deck of cards for a niece and nephew. We took a trip to visit them and did some stuff -- canoe trip, shooting, etc. with them. I used the pictures on the cards. They absolutely loved them. (54 different pics on the cards, then one photo for the back of all the cards) Those were $3 shipped.

I like working, and especially from home because dh wouldn't allow me to work if I couldn't stay home with the kids,once there in both in school full time , I can probably get a job outside the home, but right now that's not an option.

What do you guys think of moving to Alaska? We really want to move out of state asap! To either washington, oregon,california or possibly texas, or maybe ALASKA!

I'd like to go back to get my masters, but what I love to do and what will pay well long term are different things. Part of me thinks I should just be happy doing what I am now and then deal with additional school and jobs later...but I don't know. That seems almost irresponsible of me.

Dieters, SLOWTECH -- listen up -- We went to Applebees where cheating seriously crossed my mind. (Get your mind out of the gutter, it didn't involve a man, it involved food). But then I heard all these internet voices.... So, I ordered the Applebee's steak. Subbed a salad instead of potatoes, dressing on the side, barely used any. Couldn't even tell I had touched the little cup.

Ok SLOWTECH are you listening?? I ate the damned steamed broccoli (3 or 4 pieces). I ate a couple pieces of that nasty ass zucchini. I wasn't sure about the carbs in zucchini, so I didn't want too much -- that and it's GROSS. I ignored the carrots -- too many carbs and they are as bad as zucchini.

Back from the Orthopaedist, they drained a LOT of blood from behind his knee cap, but feels better now. He has definitely torn his ACL, and won't be sure about the miniscus until after the MRI.

I understand where your coming from, our company does refinishing, there was always a need and demand for it in vegas, until the economy went to shit, casinos and hotels were laying off workers and couldnt afford to actually do any work on there properties. the business has alot of exspenses as well, and if we dont have any wrk come in then there is no money coming in either. DH works at least one day a week, but then there are a few weeks here in there that he works maybe 3-5 days, there are also weeks where he has no work at all.

That was why when this job came along I took it, because it was guaranteed income, I can sustain our expenses with just my income, we have learned to live of only whats necessary to survive do to a ruff year in 09.

Im like you I could go to school and look for work, but I would rather keep my current job as it allows me to do everything else that is required of me from my family as well as DH business.

I briefly shared that RL is ugly right now - and it's not yet getting better. I am between 2 lawyers, 3 courts, 2 felonies, 3 misdemeanors and 'a partridge in a pear tree'....(so it feels).

This is 'not me' - but rather one of my sons, who has special needs. It is so stressful - I can't sit still and haven't had time to be here.

I just wanted to say that the PMs when I stopped in for a minute brought me to tears, as I needed to see/know there is goodness in the world. If anybody finds my mind, can you hold it until I return? I am certain I have lost it these last few days...

I just got the letter from GATE, Justice tested 99 and has been excepted into the gate program. I'm so proud she tested off the chart it goes up to 97 which was "well above average"

I think some things are finally going to begin improving for my father. I think the progress may be slow but I'll gladly take it at any rate!

I did email them but have not heard back. When searching the web I see a few others have gotten this for no apparent reason. It is scary though. I think about IP's that I have ROAK others, if they have copied them? Not a good idea to share IP's with people you don't know! Won't do that again. Thinking about not printing IP's period from smartsource again but will probably get over that.

Yupo and they are all from around-ish Des Moines. We share all the photo deals so Snapfish, SF, Artscow and once in a while a misc. other when the deal is good.
