Just entering a Sears is enough to give me hives. It was probably that.

I take Alavert-D daily. laugh out loud (See my list of meds. Roll)

The welts are completely gone. That was really weird. They looked like bites and now there's no sign of them. I'm really curious what sent my allergies flairing like that.
My allergies are bad, but never that bad. It was kind of random, esp since I was inside my home and nothings changed in here recently.

I'm almost wondering if it was a shirt I bought at Sears. I had it draped over that arm for about 30 minutes while I shopped. Weird. I want to go try holding the shirt again and see if it does it again, but I have classes tonight and can't go in like I was. laugh out loud
laugh out loud You must take 15 meds a day. No I take that back. I don't think anyone honestly takes that many meds a day except maybe Ref to keep him alive laugh out loud

Where did he go anyway?

Scratchchin It could have been the shirt. If I was there I'd rub it in your face and give you welt face woot

Oh God, my neck is killing me.

I take 2 aleve daily for 4 degenerative discs in my neck. That used to be enough to get me through the day, but not anymore.

I need a massage. My 9 year old has small enough fingers that he will get in there and push the vertebre apart (he doesn't realize that is what he is doing). It is like heaven.

Thanks! hug I went to sleep and woke up fine. My eyes are itchy, but nothing like last night. I'm always taking allergy meds, but I don't think I've ever had a reaction like that.

Hopefully soon I can get a cleanng day and scrub the place top to bottom to get rid of any dust.

BTW - the weather today?! Fanfarkingtastic. :woot : I saw alittle boy in shorts and a short sleeved shirt rubbing his arms to get warm. laugh out loud Only here is 62 considered cold. laugh out loud
Glad you're feeling better! hug

Oh my goodness - you are not lying about the weather! Windows are up today! Whee BT went outside this morning and said "WOW!" like he was just astonished. Awesome. Happy LT has a friend over this morning and they went outside to play and came in asking for jackets. Coverlaugh

We had lows in the 40's last night and it's forecasted to last until at least this time next week. I usually bet Zmarko on who can go the longest without turning the furnace on each fall but I think R is going to insist on turning it on soon.

It's supposed to be in the 40's soon here too (at night). I LOVE it when it's cold at night. When Patrick isn't here I don't turn on the heat downstairs at all (the kids rooms are upstairs and I'll turn on the heat for them when it gets cold enough)...cause then I get all cozy in blankets and stuff. Almost time to break out the feety pajamas! Rock

Chuck Taylors are made by Converse. I had a pair with a Batman pattern in junior high. They were red before that, and black in high school I think. You know.. because I'm goth like that. Cool

A question:

Lately there have been a lot of $15, $20 or $30 items that R has said he likes or he wants but he has not bought (he hates to spend money sometimes). Most of these are not necessities just things he sees that he likes. For instance yesterday he tried on a fleece jacket at Costco but decided not to get it because the line was super long and he didn't really "need" another jacket. I had been thinking about what to get him for Christmas as he's sort of difficult to buy for (have we heard this before?). My original idea was to buy him new fixtures, vanity , etc for our weird 70's dark green bathroom as is is both ugly and disgusting (no amount of cleaning product gets it very clean as it's old and most of the enamel is worn off the tub). So that was a rather large idea but really only a few items.

Now I'm rethinking this idea. I think bathroom supplies might not be seen as a "gift" as they will need to be installed. I can install most everything myself but I'm afraid he'd feel obligated to help.

So should I stick with redoing the bathroom (which is sort of a gift for me too) or should I start buying things he says he likes but does not actually purchase?

I thought I was getting sick last week. Runny nose, feeling sluggish, etc. I took Emergen-C twice a day for several days and my symptoms got no worse than that initial feeling. woot

Since other vitamins make me sick, I think I'm going to keep up with the Emergen-C so I don't catch everything the kid brings home.

Just an FYI for those who haven't tried Emergen-C. Stick Out Tongue
