Awww. I know how much you're in the pool when it's warm. (I would be too, lol).

I started cleaning up the oldest's room. Ugh. I think I will kill him. He hasn't been putting his laundry away right. He's just been opening the drawers and throwing them in. Mad I told him 4x to clean his room right or I was going to do it, and he wouldn't like it when I did. Guess what today is? Throw away day.
Oooooh Christian does that too. Drives me nuts. "We wash and fold your clothes for you and then you just stuff them in random drawers?"

Annoyed BT dumps his drawers so he can climb inside them. Real smart, that one...

Shocking You didn't get any of the super cheap Bic pens when school supplies and that $1/2 coupon were out?!
Apparently not laugh out loud

Apparently I can't coupon or figure out how to put sales and coupons together well
but I did get this weeks SS in the mail and put it away so I can work on figuring it out this week

Home from the grocery stores. I swear the Kroger nearest me has the worst help. The store is fairly new and the selection is good but the cashiers kill it for me. I only went in for 4 items so I only took one reusable bag inside with me. Besides taking forever to ring the lady in front of me up the first thing she says to me is, "That's never all going to fit in that one bag." No hello or anything. So I tell her I'll bag it myself. So I'm bagging and she goes to put my candle into another bag, "Please just give me that so I can bag it altogether." She's insistant that a sealed candle (glass jar and glass lid with plastic seal) is going to make my food smell and taste off. I have canned soup, protein bars and radishes. How a sealed jar is going to make any of those smell is beyond me. Next she tries to bag my cut flowers. Her excuse, "Well I don't want you to get all wet." It is raining out. And I don't want anymore of your cheapass plastic bags.

Every time I go into this store something odd like this happens. Bad bagging, smashed food. Rude cashiers who criticize my buying habits. I have spoke with the GM on several occassions and while he will replace the items their help mutiliates in bagging (requiring another trip into their store) he is not sympathetic or concerned in any way. I guess it's time to write him one final letter and buck up. I used to live on town over and their store is not staffed by morons. I guess I'll be driving and extra few miles to save my sanity. [/end rant]

I have another question for the ladies....

So in attempting to clean the kitchen, it's to the point where things are just grimy and sticky. Like the oven knobs, tops of cabinet doors.... and the counters are disgusting. I can just SEE it.

How do I clean this???? Like I have all the time in the world to do it????

I might ask him (my landlord who I live with) to hire someone to clean this house.... because this is just disgusting.

Oven knobs - do they come off? If so, just run 'em through the dishwasher. Ammonia/water 3:1 is great to use to clean the grime.

I always use a degreaser if I have problems. Greased Lightning is good.

I second the pulling off the knobs. Soak them in hot soapy water and then go at the with a Mr Clean eraser.Magic Erasers will also help with gross countertops.

I thought I might have to use bleach. Okay, I'll do that. The counters and the dishwasher are that textured plastic where they just don't friggin come clean. Annoyed

I meant like the dishwasher handle, the oven handle.... all those things that you touch that are plastic and/or dirt can collect. vomit

For those handles the Magic Eraser is the best bet.

Be careful with bleach as it can discolor a countertop very easily.

Thought about starting some sort of Ambassador program to get your subscribers to give you free advertising?
