I wonder how much that small orange peel contributes to overall taste. I mean, if there was this... lazy cook.... who liked to take short cuts, I wonder if she'd even notice the difference. Scratchchin laugh out loud

In some things yes, and in some, no. Not enough probably to alter the taste that much.

They are home parties, yes. There are LOTS of things you can buy..some under $10 and some way on up there. I am a big fan of the stones. I haven't sold it in at least 5-6 years, though, so I couldn't really tell you what all there is now.

laugh out loud I'm the Exact same way. "I don't REALLY think anyone would miss this ingredient if I don't use it." If it's not eggs/milk/sugar/water/flour I figure it's not all that important if it's not in there. I had a recipe the other day that called for lemon zest or orange zest and I went to Krogers and looked at their spices. They had jars of lemon or orange zest (whichever the fark it was) but it was 7 dollars! I was only gonna use a tiny bit so fark that.

laugh out loud I hope Christian is young enough to not remember that and one day put two and two together "hey mom...uhhh...remember that thing I used to rub your back...was it a...uhh..."
