over the last 2 weeks i've developed many "bruises" and i have no idea where they came from. i haven't taken any falls, bumped into anything...nothing like that. what is weird is that you can't actually tell there's a bruise there - there is no discoloration of the skin. but when i touch that spot it hurts like it is a bruise.
there are "bruises" on one of my calves, both my knees, my left hip, my left butt cheek, my right upper arm, part of my right shoulder (on my back) and one or two places on my right breast.
it's very weird, and it's actually really bothering me. i've got all sorts of weird ailments running through my head right now. i promise that i have not taken a fall or a random roll down a big hill lately. this whole thing started about two weeks ago with my knees and has just gone from there.

On serious note, It may not be a big cause, it may be some vitamin thing which can be resolved by taking few pills.
There is a condition called Idiopathic Thrombocytic Purpura, which could explain your symptoms or it could be any other platelet disorder.

Are you on any new medications? Taking Ginkoba, Garlic, Asprin?, FIsh Oil? Has this ever happened before, do people in your family have similar things occur? On a whole, I say keep an eye on things till your appt monday. If you have a fever or other symptoms you wanna call and find out if you should come in earlier.

If it is not serious these vitamins help:
• B-12
• C
• K
• Folic acid
I get them mostly on my shins/calves, sometimes under my knees and a few times at the side of my ribs or on my hips.
And no, I am definately not knocking them into things because they seem to appear out of nowhere!
