AMC's The Walking Dead [Spoilers!]

Did you watch?

For a show on a non premium cable channel, I thought it was very good. I never read the comic, so I don't know how it compares, but I'll be watching every Sunday. pisses me off that I don't get AMC in HD though.

yup, I DVR this and watch Dexter in this time slot. Then after Dexter I catch up on Walking Dead.

Only thing I watch live anymore is Sports. All shows I watch are DVR'd so I can get through three one hour shows in two hours without commercials.

This season could get rough without Frank Darabont's writing. I didn't think either of the two episodes were all that interesting (except for the twist at the very end of episode I.)

Anyone else curious what the goal of this season will be. In the first season it was the cdc for a cure. Now it seems to be the army base but they haven't even made it off the highway yet.

Anyone else find it kind of dumb that all this time they're afraid to shoot the zombies, but yet when they're down to the last 10 rounds and up against 1,000+ zombies they waste ammo randomly shooting as they are running away. Facepalm

I just wish they'd hurry up an find the girl or kill her, seriously just move on already.

I love the show, but I think they are spending too much time trying to build character back story's....it's starting to feel like they are just dragging out the shows now. Annoyed

It saves even more time if you watch the no-commercial shows in fast-forward 2x speed or so. An hour show takes about 22 minutes that way.

I thought most of the time they just don't shoot zombies because it makes too much noise and might attract more zombies. Plus wastes bullets, I guess. I know if I had less ammo, I'd also take down zombies with a club or an axe instead of just shooting them like I normally do.

edit: oh, randomly shooting. Yes, kind of dumb.
