Did you watch?

For a show on a non premium cable channel, I thought it was very good. I never read the comic, so I don't know how it compares, but I'll be watching every Sunday. pisses me off that I don't get AMC in HD though.

I actually thought last night's episode was one of the better ones in a while. I thought it had a good pace to it. Rick's decision to bar Carol from the prison was obviously controversial, but a strong argument could be made for it or against it. I am still kind of in between on whether I agree with it or not.

I'm hoping this whole season isn't going to have the villain be a weird strain of the flu and then the inner turmoil it causes amongst the people. That would be a bit of a bore overall. They're not writing a lot of mystery to these episodes so I'm not sitting on the edge of my seat of late.

I don't recall that. Here is from Andrew Lincoln:

Q: I love that Rick still wears a watch, post-apocalypse. Are you like that? Would you make that choice?

A: That is my choice as an actor. It's Rick's father's watch that he's given to him. I don't actually wear a watch myself, but I do think that any real memento from the past is vital to people who are so destitute. The watch I wear on set is broken — it stays at one minute to 12. Seriously, I think there's a few more layers going on here. With Scott Gimple as the showrunner they have had too much time for these episodes to be as superficial as they have seemed so far.

I'm sure there are but I grow tired in waiting on it. I mean yeah they could pack in a lot of climaxes from various subplots all at the same time in the last 2 episodes of the season but why go Whedon with the story arc when they could get to the point on some plots and let others drag out.

Doesn't anyone remember-early in the season...someone dropping a rat into the compound? (Or am I losing my mind?EEK!) Shortly after, the first pig got sick. I have to wonder if it's the Governor's revenge? Plague infected rats?

I agree.

I'm just so tired of all of the psycho-babble BS. I hate it that the writers have all of the main characters talking about their feelings every episode. Daryl isn't supposed to talk about his feelings. He's Daryl, for christ's sake! He's badass, sexy and a great shot with a crossbow. He's a survivor that's tough as nails on the outside and every once in awhile, he's zen.

That's it. Nothing more. I didn't mind seeing him fall apart when he had to kill his brother but other than that, I want him tough, dirty and splitting a walker skull while wearing a poncho. laugh out loud

He's absolutely, 100%, coming back.

It also would have been completely terrible writing (and that's compared compared to the "brilliance" we've seen this season) to end his story with that awful prison "attack."
