Did you watch?

For a show on a non premium cable channel, I thought it was very good. I never read the comic, so I don't know how it compares, but I'll be watching every Sunday. pisses me off that I don't get AMC in HD though.

I haven't had a chance to re-watch the finale, but on the first watch, I could have sworn that when Rick was burying the bag of guns, I saw someone walking in the woods off in the distance. Anyone able to quickly view that particular scene? I guess it could have been Michonne and Carl.

You misinterpret my post. I wasn't clear in saying that I thought leaving behind a cache of buried weapons was a good idea.

Wow, didn't notice that...the Episode was titled "A" and that made no sense to me.

I think the point was that they should have left PEOPLE (namely, Daryl) outside the fence instead of just weapons. i agree...they are so suspicious of this place (and rightfully so), and they all simultaneously jump in feet first.

I've been wondering what they feed the souls in the containers... Gotta get 'em, or at least keep 'em, fattened up for the slaughter. Perhaps some of them still don't know what's really going on...

What's up with all the candles? Is this only foreshadowing so far? Should I only know if I've already read the comics?

Rick took a note of all the empty bowls and bags of powdered milk outside of the railcar. Made it appear they were at least giving them cereal.

As for the candles, I have no idea what that was suposed to all be. I did not notice they were all names on the ground (I assumed it was just random 'warnings') but in the talking dead they pointed out the names.

I like the parts with all the commercials....those were my favorite.

That strange show you were able to watch for a couple minutes with zombies looked decent too.

In all honesty this season kinda sucked for the most part. I didnt like how each episode only focused on a few characters. It started to get really boring. The season finale was pretty good though. Now I know why I download the episodes the day after...that show is really hard to watch on tv with all the commercials. You get 5-7 min of the show then 3-4 min of commercials. That sure doesnt do the show any justice. The fat cats love that add revenue though.

I didn't say it was boring, (though I could go with "at times uninteresting"), but I don't think it was an action-packed thrill ride (or whatever similar phrase was used last week). I suppose if I watch that Talking Dead again I might see I'm wrong and that the guy didn't use big action-y adjectives, but I don't think so. I was given the impression this episode was going to be a rip-roaring action episode, and despite three(?) fights, it didn't seem that way.

It's a nice enough episode overall; just not what I was expecting after last week's Talking Dead.
