Did you watch?
For a show on a non premium cable channel, I thought it was very good. I never read the comic, so I don't know how it compares, but I'll be watching every Sunday. pisses me off that I don't get AMC in HD though.

I wonder, and I think I've asked this before, what all do you want to see with TWD besides predictable zombie bashing?
I'd like to see the story lines actually make sense instead of moments that make me yell at the screen, "Oh good lord, NO ONE would do that!" or "That would NEVER happen!" For example, Tyreesse was a big man; there is no way he would have been taken over by a 60 pound child zombie. Also, zombies are drawn to noise and yet, Carol and Tyreese managed to stay alive for what, at least 6-8 months with a screaming baby in tow?
And they do more flashbacks in episodes than any TV series I have ever watched. Flashbacks for the purpose of helping us get to know the character(s) or their history is fine, but last night was ... dumb.
Lastly, they keep killing off the black guys. When Noah joined them at the end of last season, my husband and I said "well, there goes Tyreese." For whatever reason, they just can't have two black males on there for any length of time. Morgan will show up and Noah and the preacher will be history.

That is really, really getting to me. The BIGGEST one that pisses us off is the sneaking zombies! You have been in this life for a couple years now...your senses would be incredibly keen to any little rustle of noise, and yet these dead things that moan and growl keep sneaking up on people!
The sneaking up zombie deaths are just annoying...I just wish they would explain away the sneaking by having the person in the room with (for example) a zombie head that is making all sorts of noise and teeth chatter, so they notice the noise and write it off as something that can't get near them.
Last night the one that was annoying was Noah, who just busted up his ankle, could still outrun Rick and the crew. OK...sure, the black dude on 1 good leg is still going to be faster than the fit asian and whities...but how could Michone and Tyrease not catch him!?!

As far as the black males go, well the comics are the same way. Tyrese However, for TV, having them meet another upright yet frazzled group doesn't really make for good ratings or TV or intensity unless they group together to take out like a huge thousand zombie horde. But then you can only do that once, then what? I would like to see some more sane folks though.
But it's annoying that these people can survive this long but then go into a house and not at least clear/secure the room they are in immediately. Yeah, everyone has bad days, but they've been doing this for a while now and such things should be habit.
And I don't know about you, but with all the people who get bit on the arm, and how Tyrese used his arm to get bit again on purpose, I'd be wearing some armor forearm gauntlets of some kind. Even thick leather would probably do it. Maybe some light chainmail.
Anyway, would have been nice to have something else going on during the last episode. Pretty much moped around for the first half, got bit, then moped around for the second half. It's sort of like the Daryl/Beth moonshine episode... like trying to stretch 30 minutes of story out to 60 to fill the episode. Yeah, yeah, this was a special episode so the full time was deserved... just seemed a bit monotonous.
Too bad there were no gas stoves or some other way (matches?) in a residential area to start a quick fire so they wouldn't have to carry a 240-pound guy through zombie-infested woods and then drive (how far away again?) to get some fire to stop the bleeding.
