Also, why did it only take Noah and Tyrese about 2 minutes to run from the front of the subdivision to Noah's house, but when Noah left to get help, it took 10-15 minutes for him to find Rick and Michone?

Or a duct tape wrapped jacket, like Milton's when he was at the pit in season 3. But I really would hate to wear a heavy jacket during a hot, humid Georgia summer.

I feel like an abused boyfriend... just keep coming back expecting it will be better. Le Sigh.

Tyreesse was a big man; there is no way he would have been taken over by a 60 pound child zombie.

And they do more flashbacks in episodes than any TV series I have ever watched.

That is really, really getting to me. The BIGGEST one that pisses us off is the sneaking zombies! You have been in this life for a couple years now...your senses would be incredibly keen to any little rustle of noise, and yet these dead things that moan and growl keep sneaking up on people!

Speaking only for myself, I would like to see them meet up with some decent people. With the exception of a VERY FEW, all they ever meet are sociopaths, thugs, child rapists, and people that want to kill them.

They spend a lot of time talking about survival of the fittest and the only the strong survive. But you're right, I'd like to see them meet a comparable group that are not sociopathic murderers for loot and are looking for the same thing as our group.

Tyreese was too good-hearted for this world. He was struck by the plight of Noah's family, someone so directly hit with a truth bomb and was captivated by the photos on the wall. I mean, it's easy to say that we'd never have our guard down after surviving so long, but we'd never truly know for sure.

I mean.. I dunno. I agree that it was a little far-fetched, because even someone walking into a room, you'd notice, let alone someone dragging and probably at least snarling a little.

Also.. wasn't he behind a door in the hallway?? How the hell did he even get out of the room? Okay now I'm on board

Tyreese wasn't "taken over" by a 60 lb child zombie. He was caught by surprise and couldn't get the hands off his arm before he chomped down.

I think people are completely underestimating the "zombie strength" factor where.. these things do not have any blood or oxygen pumping to the muscle, so it's not like it's a natural thing with limitations. Just one of those things that if you're willing to believe a show has corpses walking, you just accept that in this iteration, the zombies are not limited by the body's normal, living physicality.

It is just this half season's "Flipping Van".

I was curious if the person behind the door was the brother or if it was the "Gov'na" zombie. I assumed it was the brother but, yea, how did he get out!? And if the premise of the Governor zombie was that he came in from outside of the house, why would he have sought out Tyress and not have followed the screaming Noah that was looking for Rick? Either way, not sure how either one busted through that door.

My wife and I were talking and she mentioned a whole bunch of things I didn't notice. Apparently there were pics of dogs all over the kids room, and that means something to the future. Also, all those people cut in half that we see at the end had a "W" cut into their foreheads, and that will be explained too.

I didn't catch any photos of dogs but will check on the rerun Sunday. Well there was the "Wolves Not Far" warning graffiti on a brick wall. and next week's preview footage.

I would NEVER have read anything into it (it would be like saying 'the next interaction is going to be with the Air Force since there are so many planes") but that is what apparently people are saying...

Because I DEFINITELY remember reading some information about the clock times and the radio broadcasts and now I can't find those posts.

1. Time is still a huge factor

I spoke about it nearly every episode of the first half of Season 5, but the theme of 'time' is still being focused on an enormous amount.

There were a couple very obviously placed clocks in this episode. First up we saw the big grandmother or grandfather clock randomly strewn in the middle of the road, which seemed to be ignored by all members of the group except Tyreese who was trailing behind. It almost certainly foreshadowed his death - his time was definitely up, the clock was ticking. The second clock was on the radio that Tyreese heard 'broadcasting' in Noah's brother's bedroom (fun fact, that voice was Andrew Lincoln talking in his real accent!). The clock on the radio pointed to 5:10, another nod to Season 5, though normally it would show the episode number (which was 9) as well, however this clock definitely looks like it shows 5:10, what are your thoughts?

Finally while we're speaking of time, the season has jumped 17 days since we last saw them at Grady Memorial Hospital, which makes sense since the group was almost in Richmond, having traveled for over two weeks to cover the 500 miles. The final indication of time was certainly the skeleton in the woods, showing just how much time had passed since the outbreak that bodies have had time to decay to bones.

EDIT: Commenter Chris W. Cody has just pointed out that the clock is probably pointing to 2 rather than 10, indicating that we're into the second half of Season 5, or Season 5b (b = the second letter of the alphabet).
