Did you watch?

For a show on a non premium cable channel, I thought it was very good. I never read the comic, so I don't know how it compares, but I'll be watching every Sunday. pisses me off that I don't get AMC in HD though.

When I read the YouTube comments, there was reference to the black highlander rule. Kinda like Darth Vader/ Darth Maul- no less than one, no more than two. Interesting theory. No one mentioned the burned bodies or the body parts in the van. What was carved on the foreheads of the dismembered? Was that a "w", Or a number?

That last sequence really bothered me. I thought it was Maggie's dream when they smash cut to her waking up, but nope, a few people in a barn held off 50+ zoms and never thought to barricade the door whatsoever and sleep far away from it. Got it. laugh out loud

Yea, they still make choices like they are brand new to this world. They found a chain to lock the door in a pinch but why wasn't it already on the door? They are soooo paranoid whenever they meet people but aren't paranoid enough to take precautions besides pointing guns at people. You don't need to board up the place, just go find some dead bodies and put them around the perimeter. We have already discovered that smell is the best defense, USE IT!

Also, if we had this plan to push all these zombies off a cliff, and some b*tch decided she was going to have an emotional breakdown and go and get into the middle of it...I would have just let her go be crazy, if she gets herself killed so be it.

There is a big difference between "being stuck in a situation and needing help" and "getting yourself into a situation on purpose that would 100% require help to get out of it."

I mean, all of this is SO easy to say when we as viewers have the privilege of omnipotence about everything that is happening, and the fortune of not being starved, dehydrated, sleepless or having lost two group members within days of each other.

Maggie and Sasha are wrecks that just lost siblings, Abe still hates Eugene, Gabriel is losing his faith.. none of us can say for certain that we wouldn't let our guard down as they have, or let someone snap without trying to help. I think the writers are trying to show us that it's not going to be all well and good, or that everything works out, or that everyone survives or is doing a-ok mentally.

See, I feel like I would have drank it. But I also feel like after a couple years of needing to filter water / collect rain water I'd have some type of a system I could run it through anyway. I'd probably give way too many people the 'benefit of the doubt' and already be dead laugh out loud

Gotta remember, weeks passed between Beth dying and Tyreese dying. I believe it took them 17 days to get the 500 miles to Noah's. I am glad they tried to explain why Maggie would be such a basket case weeks after her sister died (when she didn't appear to give a sh*t earlier...). But the "She is alive" excitement to the "she is actually 100% dead" is what is really getting to her.
