The Pedophile's Guide to Love and Pleasure @amazon

Man, I've seen a lot of things on the web and there have been few times that it's so shocking, it haunts me. This is one of those WTF....For some reason, Amazon selling : "The Pedophile's Guide to Love and Pleasure" just leaves me speechless. I buy everything from Amazon except for food....I don't know if I'll be shopping at Amazon anytime soon...just my opinion.

This is what I assumed the book was about when I read the title (different outet than hurting children). I'm not going to go search for it to find out, but people should really get their facts straight before jumping to conclusions. With that said, here's what the whole book should be in two sentences.

"Think all the perverted farked up shit in your head that you want but never act on it. Buy a dog to love (platonically)."

If it really is about hurting children (which is doubtful) it's actually ingenious to have it sold on Amazon. You can easily track who buys the book. Those people get red flagged by the FBI. The ignorant masses all go bananas.. but who cares?

It's an awful book, so I just won't buy it. Simple as that. If they were encouraging sales of this book more than others, then I might object. But just because it's one of the millions of book titles they offer... yeah, definitely not.

If a person were attracted to children but never acted on it I would agree that they weren't necessarily a bad person. I would also agree that they shouldn't be portrayed as a child rapist or murderer.

I could have a fantasy where I was a ninja that went around decapitating people with my katana.. would that make me a bad person? Should I be portrayed as a potential murderer? Unless I go purchase a katana, make dummies with people's faces on them, and then decapitate said dummies, I say no.

You can't encourage people to be attracted to children. They're either attracted to them or they're not attracted to them. I think your point is that they shouldn't be encouraged to learn to deal with their affliction, and should instead seek treatment. I'd argue that a lot of people would be too ashamed to do so, and instead might look for a different means, like this book etc.

If it actually helps with love and pleasure for a pedophile, maybe in a few cases it would prevent a child from being hurt. I say that's a good thing.

You miss understand. It would be encouraging those who are, but may not otherwise act. Or even those those who would act.

If they need help then the should seek it professionally. As they can receive alot better help by a trained psychiatrist. Vs a book that encourages this kind of attention.

How does it encourage pedophiles to act? Unless you've read the book I'm not sure how you can make such a claim. I say we all buy the book off amazon so we can state accurate opinions on the content. Who's first? look around

Pedophilia isn't an act. It defines adults that are attracted to children. The book may or may not discourage the act of harming children. I have no idea. I tend to assume it describes alternate means of love and pleasure. If not I'll join the lynch mob and brandish my katana.
