We are cutting ours out of the yard this year. LMAO
Roll I like that. We went with an artificial LED lit one. We wanted the 9' but after remembering that we might not be in this house in the next 3 years or so, decided on the 7.5'. I am now looking for skirts, toppers and ornaments online.

Well we are thinking silver and red. We both grew up with trees that had mis-match ornaments, so we want more of a solid approach with bulbs and then a star topper and skirt.

First of the season, or first ever?

And congratulations! Groupwave

(It's not a live one, is it? It might not make it to Christmas...)

Oohhh, fun! Woot

I always have trouble deciding what kind of tree to use every year - the years we get a real one, the pine needles are such a damned pain, we're like "yeah, let's use the artificial this year" and the years we use the artificial, I'm like "awww, I miss having a real tree!" LMAO

Oh FD, you might also want to check ebay for things like tree skirts - my favorite tree skirt I got off ebay, and it's SO pretty, it's a shimmery red/green/ivory velvet, and it was cheap, too!

I haven't checked for Christmas items there in a couple years, though, but there's usually some good options for things like that. Big Grin

Ohhh, yeah, just wait until he starts climbing one of your trees! laugh out loud

Growing up, we always put these really cheap ornaments at the bottom for the cats (like those ones that are covered in that fine thread) and they would just play with those most of the time. Of course every couple of days, we'd have to find them all and put them back on the bottom of the tree. LMAO

That looks gross! laugh out loud

I've never been a fan of eating desserts that are supposed to look like a main course, or eating main courses that are designed to look like desserts. I'm sure it takes a certain amount of creativity and work but... it's like eating blue mashed potatoes. Sure, the coloring doesn't alter the flavor, but it's just not the same... LMAO
