I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

Now those posts are GONE...However, someone altered the info on it beforehand with some nasty fill-ins such as Hooker Lane in Alabama.Crazyin cyber space. There is someplace I can look it up on this site, but I'm not sure where, just yet.Smilie

Just watched a TV segment about a cat stranded on some ice and saved by a helicopter that blew the little guy to shore.Smilie

Rain here on the coast...lots of snow in the Olympics and Cascade Mountains. But nothing like the Bonk on the east coast!

that's calf, not cat. I loved it in wa, was on whidbey 2 times for 3.5 yrs. usually got first snow around xmas.

That's how I sorta watch TV...it looked like Bambi.

We get jets overhead here on the Olympic Peninsula dog-fighting. We can't always see them...it can be quite LOUD, but doesn't last for a very long time.

I think the mod is just on a power trip, maybe stemming from a really poor childhood.

I don't think Slick cares much about what we post since we give Google/Bing and Yahoo lots of content that brings in people to increase Slicks ad impression revenue. $$$$$$

It's not the mods. They only seem to come on when people notify them. According to a post last night: "I was on the other thread when those two lamos started to complain. so i just followed you to the funny farm. put it in my favorites so i wouldn't lose it. They just don't realize how some of us just need to relax and have alittle fun and not take everything so serious. I work with autistic teenage boys during the week. It is very rewarding and exhausing, so i need alittle silliness."

Looks like OKdog and Talonts decided to get mean again and had the thread closed. Then, of course, they came over to this thread and continued to castigate us for not following the rules. They're kind of sick, IMHO.

By the way, my niece emailed me yesterday. My sister got a letter from Marlboro about possibly changing her prize choice. My sister bizarrely married a guy whose last name begins with Z. I do think the big M sent out notices in alpha order. For her sake, I sure hope they don't ship items that way as well. She might not get her netbook until Easter.nod

I just got off the line with Marlboro. It appears that any account which had a possibility to change a prize to a higher level prize was or will be notified by Marlboro for a opportunity to change the prize. Some of the notifications may not have yet been sent, and some may have either bounced or gone off into the dark space of the INTERNET because of filters or such. In any case ANYONE who wants to change a prize for a higher level prize should contact Marlboro at the number which was already posted. This is the ONLY number to call if you want to change the prize as these operators have direct access to change the prize.

I actually checked out one of his postings and he IS offensive in that one, so it's probably force of habit with the fool. He never did squat in the contest except take the answers, and now all he's interested in is when the items will be shipped and how good they are. Ticks him off that he has to read 5 pages of posts to get information from us again. Breaks your heart, doesn't it? He's probably on Ignore in 97% of the threads he steals from.
