Hi all,

I started this thread for anyone who wants to come here for lite discussion, jokes, and just general discussion and fun.

Everyone is welcome!

I was thinking that maybe it would be helpful to keep the original thread to a bit more of a serious discussion of the clues and answers.

This would make the original thread more useful to those seeking serious information and clues without having to read through hundreds of extraneous messages.

So, I hope it catches on !

So pop a beer and pull up a chair and relax !

Amazing pics! Your son is a tad more fearless than I, even in my crazy days! Folks don't know how bad the break is unless they have been there. Boogie boards are the shits, back in the day we used moreys, most likely extinct now. Whats the ski place, doesnt look like mamoth

Seeing all the DUIs late last night & early this morning reminds me of why I don't go out on New Year's Eve....way too many drunk people on the road.
Much nicer at home with a cup of hot chocolate & a fire blazing in the fireplace. Cozy! Grouphug

Yeah, the cops around here don't mess around. Boise is technically a city, but more like a small town. You can even see things like "Boise police ask the public to help identify someone's security cam photo for using a stolen credit card" on the evening news. Seems like just about every week that a "credit card ring" from California gets busted here. I don't know how the state can afford to lock all these people up, but they do and usually with ridiculously long sentences for the crime.

I don't regret staying in at all. Had fun right here.woot

Happy New Year SD People!!!!
I rang it in with Dick Clark and my bed comforter as I have a head cold. Sure the weather contributed as it was sooo cold all week when sister and boyfriend (and two large dogs) were here visiting, like single digits at night and snow on ground. Then yesterday and today, in the 60's. Funny thing, no snow on my side of street anymore but across the street----still white even at 60. Calling for snow again this coming Friday. I mean really? CRAZY!
My 17 year old slept through New Years Eve. Mad at me I didn't wake him as he had plans to go out. Hey, I'm not an alarm clock (plus secretly happy he wasn't out)
Birthday on Monday so double sucky if still not feeling well.

Wow, really was some kind of party...home at noon! Smilie Glad everything turned out ok.
I don't know what I'm gonna do when/if my girls want to do stuff like that.
Figured I would just lock 'em in their room until they're 30. Big Grin

I think one of my kittens turned into a SD moderator. I did notice she took great interest in Serra's earlier postings (when she wasn't trying to catch the little bug thingie) Taken with my Canon.

We've got our fair share of 'em here, but probably not as many as Cali does.
Thankfully, my girls are very well behaved & quite modest. Girly I'm very lucky. Eyelash
