Also to add to my fears, so many people I know have been in accidents lately. Yet I believe not one of them were related to the weather. My boyfriend's car was hit, his dad's van was hit, and his mom ran into something in a parking lot. What's even better is that his dad's car was hit while nobody was in it: it was sitting in the parking lot of an auto repair company and two other cars got into an accident. They knocked down a light pole, totalled the car in front, and that car was then pushed into his car.
Then a friend of my parents was hit. And a friend of mine was hit over the weekend. All within the last month.
So yep.
Got in late because of the snow. Then as I got to work this morning we got an e-mail saying that they are breaking up the company. Awesome.

In one situation, nobody was even in the car. It was parked in a parking lot and was hit due to another accident nearby.
