DH conviently forgets to use coupons when I give them to him, so he's not allowed to shop anymore lol.

What about nutella? Dd and I have been wanting to try it, we do not have peanut allergies, but I'm cutting fat/calories/carbs as much as possible here and there.
nutella is ultra-fattening and super addictive but drool
we grew up eating it... when looking for nutella, look for the imported ones (some grocery stores sell them at same price as that made by Hershey). Hershey bought the name in the US and they make it with their chocolate/different formulation and it tastes Yuk in my humble opinion - much sweeter and the fat separates in your mouth kind of like with hershey kisses. the nutella made in europe or canada tastes different. the european one is the best in terms of taste. canada second. ditto with kitkat. there is a marked difference in the formulation and taste of US kitkat vs european/canadian. the european one is seriously delish.

sorry, i'm a chocolate snob. grew up eating gourmet, handmade chocolates after family started a chocolaterie. so i taste the difference.

but no more chocolate talk, please. this is a diet thread. besides i'm a constantly nauseous poster. laugh out loud

So how are you feeling getgreen? Hopefully better.

I luv chocolate too but I must admit the fanciest I've ever had is from sees Frown

Nutella sounds yummy but fattening lol.

hug setsail that's too bad you have a peanut allergy, I guess I never though of it but I'm sure you need to avoid lots of things bevause of it.

Question for the kohlies, does the $10 cashback u get when u spend 50 work before or after coupons? Like can I have 50 worth of stuff use qs and pay less and get the 10?

Hey, that See's chocolate is really tasty! I actually think it tastes better than Godiva.

One last chocolate comment- Hershey is ok but I'm disappointed in them. In the past they have petitioned the FDA to get the amount of cocoa butter (to replace the 25% cocoa butter with vegetable oil, blech) required to have "chocolate" on the label, without saying chocolate flavored. Yes this is from 3 years ago but it still saddens me. It's like the difference between See's chocolate and Sixlets. lol

Yeah my hubby does same thing sigh... ,even if I make him a list and have all
the Q's in order for him.

Sometimes I feel like we are working at cross puposes,it's a little frustrating.

He did cvs ahem for me today and gave them the q, I only tr usted him with one and then he didn't give them the cvs card ughhh.

I have heard good things about nutella , but have no personal experience.

No shake head it's figured after Q's

I've never heard of sees chocolate is it from another country or local?

I have a friend that sends me chocolate from England an it is delish, all I know is it tastes alot different than our chocolate and I don't think it's an english "gourmet" brand.

It's a West Coast chain of stores.

www.sees.com

yummyyummyyummyyummy

They do set up seasonal kiosks all over the U.S. as well as having permanent ones in some areas. The military exchanges sell the assorted 1 lb boxes and the lollipops (which are peanut safe).

FYI their chocolate is supplied by Guittard, which sells the semi sweet and milk chocolate chips (sold at See's as "drops") at stores like Safeway for about $2 less than what it costs at See's. Peanut and nut safe, and a darn sight tastier than Nestle chips.

Don't feel bad. I've had lunch with my DH twice this week, and we had Chinese last night. Frown Not a great diet week for me. Oh well, there's always next week.
hey! we don't weigh in till monday! you still have fri, sat and sun to work on it.

I know I'm missing a lot, I'll catch up more tomorrow. I discovered 30 uncut P&G inserts Tuesday night. EEK! and that is in addition to Mr.Clean and OS that I already had in my purse. But I did it. I had dh hit Walmart for the Gain dish soap, 20 in one trip, 30 in another. lol I took care of the rest of the shopping.
argh! knew i forgot something!

ah well, better i went to target and supermarket. got me a digital scale for 7.48! free trial olay bodywash, cheap bread, cheap spinach, cheap ibuprofen. at the supermarket they had some awesome cat deals. that is, i'm hoping they're awesome. they were buy 20.00 in participating products, i did kraft/nabisco and nestle, had various mqs, get back 20.00 in cats split up into 4wks. the cats say they are only good on kraft/nabisco and nestle products but i really hope they aren't coded that precisely. would be difficult to buy 5.00 of kraft/nabisco and 5.00 of nestle for the next 4 wks. if all goes well, i will make money on the deals.

off to bed!

thank you for asking sweetie! and thank you to all of you for hugs and goodwishes. hug
i feel rather icky still. super super nauseous. just can't shake that off. and tummy's aching.

think i'll go chop up some fresh ginger with a dash of salt and lemon and chew that. it helped with my nausea last night and then i fell off to sleep because of it. maybe same deal tonight. i heart ginger. it's been my life-long anti-nausea weapon.

mlj, hugs for the stress. have you tried some meditation or breathing techniques? they do help immensely with stress.
also, in the past when I found myself in stressful work situations, i did what i call the "balloon burst" technique.
basically identify specifically what it is that's bothering you - so instead of saying to yourself i'm stressed about job changes, and then letting that stress balloon and balloon, identify exactly what about it is frightening/intimidating/anxiety-causing to you. as soon as you manage to identify the specific things - there will be new responsibilities and i won't know how to do them well; or i'll have that meanie as a boss and he/she has never liked me; or i'll work longer hours for same money -- you'll notice the balloon of stress will stop growing. cos now you know the exact sources.
then, to burst the balloon, for each stressor you've identified, find some antidote. so for example, it could be something like well, what's the worst, i won't know how to do the tasks, so i'll make a few mistakes in the beginning. so what? big deal. i'll learn it. look at how much i've learned on this job. boom. the balloon just burst.
point is, you need to find ways to stop feeling the need to control the situation, while simultaneously feeling in control/not helpless. and once you don't feel so at sea, you feel less stressed. or atleast that has been my experience. our minds are very powerful things if we leverage them to our benefit.

sorry you are going through a rough time. big hugs to you!

ok peeps. i'm off to ginger-land. Big Grin

I've really been rocking Kohls lately, speaking of which , if you have a mess of those five Q's there are all those godiva chocolate items, under $5 right now. Make wonderful stocking stuffers, gift basket fillers.

Oh you aren't far from me, I'm outside DC. Mid-November you should be able to find a list of seasonal kiosks on their site. In the past, the kiosks would open around Thanksgiving. If there is a military base near you, and you know someone with a military ID, they could pick up a gift for you. Big Grin

they are very homemade as opposed to gourmet. i think CA people grew up on them so they have a bias towards them like my college roommate. she made them out to be the greatest. me and dh don't really like them.

on the other hand, we absolutely love these and i think they sell them at target-
