RETIRED: Target chit chat

My mom and I are going into Atlanta on Tuesday and I want to know if anyone knows of any freebie things to do/get in a mall setting? We're both limited on funds and I got my freebie genes from my mom, haha. I know we'll stop at Aveda for their shampoo freebie and Saks for the Foursquare/Nars lipstick...anything else? Even just samples and stuff will make us both happy (this is the closest I can get for a 'girls day out' with my mom, I'd like to make it enjoyable)

Don't forget to check the BBW thread in the cpns forum..I know they had a cpn for free travel size lotion for this weekend..Not sure if it expires today or tomm...

Sorry for the late email list. Had a little *too* much fun last night

I pulled something in my lower back on Fri, been doing ok with just ibuprofen. Last night I threw in the towel, decided I would just not babysit DH and got a bottle of TGIF Orange Dream (with the Vodka in it) and ended up drinking half the bottle I was buzzing by 9pm, I'm a big lightweight, and I haven't drank much at all in years, so it didn't take much.

Well, the party last night was a "beerfest", with stupid little drinking games and such. One game(and the only one that ended up getting played) was an obstacle course. I took the "glory" route at the end down the Slip n' Slide. Not a good thing to do when you already have a hurt back.

At least I have no hangover today, just a very sore back.

Anyways, emails are out. I'm glad the Kraft reset, some of the new TQs will match up nicely.

I have not ventured out today, so no inserts for me. Not a biggie, they have sucked lately anyways around here. I just ordered some of the Nestle Qs off the 'bay.

Cathi - what bags of candy did you buy? There are new scanners at both stores I go to and neither of them showed a GC deal for the candy or friskies last week, even though there was one. All of them said "Expect More, Pay Less"

I tried to do 1 more candy deal yesterday, cashier waiting at the end of the checkout to get the next customer was one that I had been avoiding. I was right to do so. She scanned 2 of my Qs. noticed something was wrong, called over the GSTL and he showed her how to adjust them down. I was getting some bandages and Neosporin yesterday anyways (son wiped out running at the flea market and took a lot of skin off his knees and fingers). I didn't feel like arguing, I was very tired at that point.

Flea Market went pretty well, I'm down to about 15 bottles of Mr. Clean. Made a little over $300, but ended up with a lot of empty boxes/containers, so that made me happy. My DH said I can spend the money on whatever I want, since I clipped the Qs and did all the work. Now the question is: Dyson, save for iPad, YMCA membership, or some laminate flooring (or Dyson and 2 boxes of laminate flooring to do little hall area, where the cats have ripped up the carpet.)

Kallision - if your freezer is going to be unplugged for awhile, Publix sells Dry Ice. It's in a chest cooler in the freezer section usually.

Jamie - Hope the first day went well, and I hope you got your Dyson TQ from the Red Magazine in the break room (back cover).

Does anyone know what the T Mobile Qs are. I received the text yesterday, but haven't gotten online and checked them. I looked in the Deals wiki, but didn't find them, just an empty spot where they would normally go.

I told my DD that I was currently getting candy with Qs. She sent me a text saying, "I want CANDY!!" I think I may fill up a med. priority mail flat rate box with just candy and send it to her

I'm home! My feet hurt so bad but other than that I'm good.

So they stuck me with a trainer and she said I had to watch her for the first couple of hours and then, if I was brave enough, she'd let me give it a try. The GSTL was standing there so I said "or.. I could just start and you watch cause that's the best way to learn." The GSTL shook his head yes and smiled.

So, she did the first transaction, I did the next ones for the next 15 minutes. Then I got my own lane for the duration of the day.

I'm a fast learner.

I did get the Dyson coupon.

BBL for more. Gotta eat something.

I never have either. I've had lots of K1's at my store as a Q user. I've never heard a thing. Even had GSTL K1 some things before, like the Clean & Clear MQs, didn't blink or hesitate at all.

Glad you had a good first day. Lots of people complain about cashier, just because it is standing in 1 place all day. Even us Flow Team Members, who constantly lift heavy boxes, bend, and do very physical work in general (not going in tomorrow for this reason, going to dr instead), complain that cashiering is the worst for that reason.
