If I was doing WW I would eat all my points for breakfast. I am not that disciplined on my own. I need to have someone TELL me what to eat and when. Hence the too sweet Slimfast bar. LMAO

I usually do ok spacing them out. That pizza just looked so tasty in the fridge and the baby is napping so I can actually sit to eat something. yummy What's funny is that I know it was not a great choice, but I was so proud of myself for actually writing it down. Now when I'm starving tonight and can't afford a snack at least I'll know why.

I'm too nervous to weigh myself, but guess I should just go do it. Hubby and I went on a date (first time in for.e.ver.) and well, how can you adhere to a diet on a date?? And then there's the leftovers...

Anyone else have cold rainy weather today? Wanted to hit up several Targets to use the bathroom Qs but was a bug at the first one and decided its just too cold to keep the kids out. 'Specially considering both Lillian and I are still fighting our coughs. Sadwalk So back to the house we went.

Hubby and I made the hour trip yesterday because we had to do an exchange at Menards (it's like Lowes or Home Depot). This time we went the opposite direction from where I usually go. My main reason for going in there was to get some of the Finish dishwasher dispenser things. We have really hard water and unless it was just a fluke, the one load I have run using it came out better than anything I have ever tried. (Actually, we just bought a water softener to put in.) Holy crap - it was still $8.0X.

That was really the only reason I went yesterday too. I was still pretty miserable. Night before last I was chilling so bad I couldn't get warm and ended up getting up and taking a bath. I've been taking Alavert (every 24 hours), Guaifenesin (every 4), Vicks nasal spray 2 or 3 times a day, and aspirin and/or ibuprofen, as needed.

Just in case anybody wants to know this -- I really think I prefer name brand Mucinex to the generic (guaifenesin) Mucinex is 2 every 12 hours, it's time released. Cheap generic is 1 every 4 hours. The generic is a lot cheaper though Had a doctor recommend it to my husband a few years back -- it might have just gone OTC. Anyway, we are sold works better than anything we have tried and it doesn't knock me out.

I haven't done well with the diet the last couple days -- I've been blaming the nausea. Wink I didn't stay under my carb limit - but I didn't eat like a pig either. I ate a little of the spaghetti and a small piece of bread they were having last night..... ok fine, and two cookies. All of it combined though would not have filled my 2 cup measuring cup. And that was it for the day. Ummm, did I mention I just ate a couple cookies along with my handful of pills? Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) Can't take all that stuff on an empty stomach now can I?

I've got to go do the paper run this morning. I still feel kind of rotten, but the fresh air does feel good and it won't take too long. I don't have to stop at the store or anything. Gas station, recycle bins, home. Poor doggy, no lake for her today.

i only harp on it b/c that's what i have to do every day at home. dh is a meat and carb guy and will even do all meat if that's whats easiest. he is so lazy! that's why i'm doing off the cuff zone. trying to get him to look at his plate and tell himself that he needs some fruit and veggies somewhere in the mix.

you can always look at my daily meal postings over in discussions to get some ideas. i go thru this all the time w/ bff. she's the type to stand in front of the frig at 5pm to figure out what to cook for dinner. so when we go grocery shopping together she's always asking me what to cook for dinner. esp if she's having company. i am total opposite of her. i work off of what veggie i have in the frig and what meat i need to defrost the night b4. i usually know what i'm cooking minimum the nite b4. sometimes up to 3 days out. i don't like to have to throw any food out b/c it went bad b/c i didn't make a plan to eat it.

just called the classifieds to place yard sale ad in local paper and they are charging 37.93 for 20 words Faint Nono2! i said, the price went up that much??? she said the price actually went down. i said no, i paid 23.58 for 8 lines in 2007. that's way more than 20 words. she said that was awhile ago, rates go up. i said, by a third in 3 yrs??? i think i'll pass and she hung up.

it's cheaper to rent a table at an organized rummage sale now than take an ad out. no wonder newspapers are dying. they are destroying themselves.

we are doing posters and craigs list. the local paper would bring in half my customers but come to think of it, i don't remember getting my free classified section recently. so if they are cutting back on free circulation and raising rates at the same time, it becomes too expensive and useless.

My kiddos have convinced/guilted me into not giving out the MP fruit chews for Halloween - since it will mainly be their friends coming to our door. I asked if they'd prefer Chef Boyardee instead? No? Then what about Mr. Clean? No? toothbrushes? No? They insist the only thing that will save them from a life-time of teasing is CANDY!

So, if anyone has an extra BOGO candy Q to trade, please let me know. (I have most inserts, some SW booklets, multiple computers to print from, just not the darn candy Qs!) Since I didn't get the q's, I'm not even sure which ones to search for on ebay - there seem to be so many different ones. So, any help there would also be appreciated.

Thanks for saving my kids from the horror of being the one house on the block that didn't give out candy!

ETA: Isn't there a trading thread? Anyone know which forum its in?

I bought mine off the bay too! Snagged some last night.. 20 coupons were 1.75 on BIN. I probably could have found some a little cheaper, but if they are under 2.00, I usually grab them.
