We've had a water softener since 2007. Just sitting in our basement not connected. And dh sees no reason for me to pester him about getting this hooked up and running Roll Eyes (Sarcastic) We have extremely hard water by the way. Ugh. Men.

Yeeeaaahhh, that's a bit of a while to be waiting. I can't complain. Mine does a whole lot of everything around here. I just went ahead and bought it a week or two ago because I was there and it was on sale. What can I say, it's Iowa, this time of year you hurry up and do the outside stuff FIRST! Which reminds me. I need to order the new snowblower....

yes, i did. at 2 different stores - one greatland, one ST. there are no up&up sponges. Sadwalk

howevah, there are up and up cleaning wipes containers for 1.99 so 0.99 after tq... the wipes are just like the normal clorox wipes in terms of active ingredients. ingredient for ingredient identical. and no triclosan. however, they are not like the clorox green wipes, or the 7th gen wipes which are free of the other harsher chemicals. in case that matters to anyone in terms of their buying decisions.


also dreeme, in the dollar spot they had "stadium seat cushions" for 2.50.... thought those might be nice for your feet the next time you have a looooong, standing-at-the-register day.

Teehee No, but I feel like they say that every year. And this will be my first winter where I don't have to be up and out of the house to be to work by 7:15-7:30 on days when I can barely get out of my driveway so I'm pretty excited that dd and I can lounge around, drink hot cocoa, play in the snow, etc. on those days. Target is my nearest store too so I'm sure I can find a good excuse to get there in the winter when needed Wink

check yahoo groups for buy sell trade groups

Some are called yardsale groups but people list items for sale

You can sign up(like free cycle) and receive emails once a day-daily digest or get an email every time something is posted for sale or yardsale is posted.(more people than not are signed up to receive instant emails, so this way they can buy things or be able to jump on the free things faster)

Each group usually have rules of what types of ads you can post but they are usually friendly and easy to use

Most people in my small town usually post their yardsale ads on craigslist or yahoo groups.

Hey Kohls peeps...since the $5 shows up as Kohls cash and the receipt says purchases made with Kohls cash will be refunded as a MC...does that mean I can return something I bought with the $5, get my MC and then buy something else with another $5 and use my MC (thus having $10 to spend? Or is that a faux pas?
